So in October, 2025 I purchased a used Nissan Kicks from Findlay Honda in Henderson. I was only able to test drive the car around the lot because it was filthy and hadn't been into the detail shop yet, and Findlay Honda in Henderson. The issues began after I signed the paperwork, I made the mistake of not purchasing the extended warranty on the car. The next day when driving the car it made what felt like a shudder, and then subsequent days after it did the same thing. Basically as I described to Taylor and the service advisor Bryant, it seems like it forgets that its in drive for a few seconds, and then it would also go into "limp mode." They kindly took the car into the shop a few times and "looked at it" and each time they said it never did what I described. For me to record the car when its doing the noise, I have about 30 or more recordings of this, and was never told how to get these recordings to them. On October 31, 2025, I had the day off of work, my plan was to go pick Bryant up and bring him to my home to take a short drive back to the dealership so he could see/hear for himself the issue, but he had taken the day off of work. So I asked the receptionist if he could call me back when he was in the next day or two and well here it is 6 months later and I am still waiting on a phone call back from him. My salesman Taylor, he was real responsive in the beginning, but yea he won't reply to text messages any longer. So in the first week when I brought the car back to them and I relayed to Taylor a lot of the issues, he said he would tell the service dept. all the issues I listed and he only mentioned the "limp mode." Taylor also stated that I shouldn't be having these issues so soon after purchasing the car, and he would understand if it were 6 months down the road. Well here we are 6 months down the road and all the times that I told them I think the transmission is going bad on this car, and them telling me "we can't recreate this issue" and now the car is in at the Nissan service dept getting the transmission fixed to the tune of 8300$. The had given me a nice loaner car when they had the car in for a week. After the week, they called and said everyday they drove the car in the mornings and the issue could never be recreated. I find that funny, because right after I picked up the car and started driving it all of a sudden the transmission did the slipping thing. I highly do not recommend purchasing a car from Findlay Honda, do not take it there for service if its making a noise they will just tell you that you are imaging things. I talked to the service advisor at Nissan and asked if the times it was going into limp mode were signs of the transmission going bad and he said it is a sign. So here I am, getting ready to make my 6th possibly 7th payment on a car and already having to put the cost of a second used car into this one..... One of the first service advisors, I don't remember his name though, that I worked with on this car, he was pretty convinced it was the transmission. So on my phone I still have all the recordings, and no where to send them in, not that it matters now because I have a $8300 repair bill that I am now paying on. So not a happy customer here, at this point I just want to pay this car off and run it off a cliff. More

Service here took way longer then it should have an I was forgotten about. It wasnt until my sales guy went to go check on my new car that I got it back.
