Born and raised just outside of Pittsburgh, Pa. My wife, Kristen and I moved out to AZ over 11 years ago and together we have a beautiful little girl, Aislyn. When not at work, I like watching my hometown Steelers and Penguin games, or a quiet night at home with my family. I also enjoy taking my family on outdoor adventures (hiking, fishing, and camping) enjoying our beautiful, sunny state in either of our Subarus. I also enjoy taking my daughter to her favorite spots (the Zoo, Odysea, etc.) I have been in the Auto industry for over 10 years, and have been with Subaru for the past 9. It’s a brand I love and believe in and find it easy to stand behind(I own two myself!) I take pride in providing a GREAT customer experience helping to get them into the car they want! Didn't plan on buying a car this day but The process was so unobtrusive and casual that I decided to do it anyway. Thomas Darby was excellent. Calm, friendly, knowledgeable and definitely not overbearing or pushy. He genuinely listened to my situation and responded accordingly with concise information that had to do with me and not pushing an agenda or steering me in a direction I didn't want to go. Buying a car can be intimidating but everyone at this dealership explained everything in detail ro make sure I knew what I was getting into. Great job to all! More

Best customer service for a first time buyer! As he works, he makes sure that you are very comfortable and informed about the products you are trying to buy. Best car buying experience ever!! Been looking for a new car, had checked out 4 new car dealerships and CarMax - came into the Subaru superstore and met Thomas Derby - who patiently an Been looking for a new car, had checked out 4 new car dealerships and CarMax - came into the Subaru superstore and met Thomas Derby - who patiently answered all my questions, sent an occasional email to remind me about financing offers - and when we were ready, he let us test drive 2 different models - and pre filled out paperwork. New car was synced to my phone, garage door, starling and features carefully reviewed - loved everything ! More

Excellent salesmanship. So my wife and I go to subaru superstore to pick up some wiper blades for my wife's XV Crosstrek. While I was waiting for the parts my wife starts loo So my wife and I go to subaru superstore to pick up some wiper blades for my wife's XV Crosstrek. While I was waiting for the parts my wife starts looking at the the cars in the show room. By the time I buy my parts and get to my wife she has met salesman Tom Darby who I have to admit is about the most personable car salesman I have ever met. My wife asked Mr.Darby a few questions about a 2018 forester XT Touring and before I could blink he had found us the perfect one that my wife fell in love with instantly. While we were on a test drive of the vehicle Mr.Darby showed that he is a wealth of knowledge on that exact vehicle also making sure my wife understood all the functions and safety features that it offered. As I stated in the beginning I had only planned on buying wiper blades that day cause my wife had to work that night and needed to get home to sleep. I decided to buy my wife the forester for her birthday in 2 days so I informed Mr.Darby that I was on a tight schedule and hoped we could make things work and before I could blink Mr. Darby jumped into action obtaining and great offer that I was pleased to accept. He then got us done with all the paperwork and delivery earlier than he foretold. Overall I will say I have now purchased 2 Subaru's for subaru superstore and could be any happier with the dealership. 5 star salesteam and 5 star service department. If you are interested in a great experience buying a fantastic and safe Subaru go see Tom Darby he is truly a step above the old way of doing things and really makes sure you have an honest and wholesome experience. I guarantee you will leave more educated and feeling appreciated. I know my wife and I did. More
