Had a very poor experience at Sawyers Service Department. Brought the car in for an inspection and then they called and said I needed new wipers. Which is fine I had them replace them. Then they called bac Brought the car in for an inspection and then they called and said I needed new wipers. Which is fine I had them replace them. Then they called back and said I needed new tires. So to get the car inspected I said to have them replace them. I also had mentioned that there is a slight coolant leak and if they came across a cause to please let me know. Well they advised that it needed a new water pump which was covered under a warranty. They said they could replace it. So fast forward a week and we needed something out of the car and it’s just sitting in the parking lot with nothing done. Then goes another week and a phone call to them every other day trying to get our vehicle back. Then comes the day that the car is done. We went there looking to pay $21 for an inspection and left with a $850 bill. We paid, and the car needed things so we got it done. Then comes the day after we picked it up and received a phone call saying we owe them more money, $120 to be exact. They said they replaced the thermostat and the warranty won’t cover it. They never once told us they were replacing the thermostat or even looking at it. They said it was melted but never showed us the part. We then called advanced auto in Catskill to see how much we could buy the part for which was $80. We called and complained and they just didnt care. The best they could do is give us the part for $84 instead of $120. This was not something that was approved by us. However, we paid it. I’m very disappointed in how all of this was handled. We have bought two vehicles from them and had a bunch of service done from them and to treat a loyal customer this was was shocking. More

Upon entering showroom I was greeted right away by Tim Day. I am completely satisfied with my new purchase. Tim spent the time to explain everything step by step and got me started in the drivers seat bef Day. I am completely satisfied with my new purchase. Tim spent the time to explain everything step by step and got me started in the drivers seat before I left the lot by showing me the how to's and helping me to make all the proper adjustments needed for a safe ride home. I recommend Sawyer and Tim when looking to make your next car or truck purchase. More

I don’t really know very much about Sawyer Chevrolet except they seem to be able to make the purchase of a new car comfortable. My sales person is well informed, attentive and informative, attributes t except they seem to be able to make the purchase of a new car comfortable. My sales person is well informed, attentive and informative, attributes that present very well when spending money. I would certainly recommend this organization to anyone. More
