I needed a bigger car than my current Rav4, and Tim Payton helped me get the car I wanted at the price I could afford. This is my 5th Toyota from Smithtown Toyota and I couldn't be happier. I know when I walk into the showroom and talk to Tim I will be getting a no nonsense deal and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend Tim and Smithtown Toyota for your car needs, you won't be disappointed. More

The salespersons that I dealt with at Smithtown Toyota, Mr. Alex Bruno and Mr. Tim Payton, were exceptional. They were able to locate a very difficult to find vehicle, along with the equipment that I want Mr. Alex Bruno and Mr. Tim Payton, were exceptional. They were able to locate a very difficult to find vehicle, along with the equipment that I wanted, in a reasonable time. When I initially requested a price proposal on the truck, Mr. Bruno made every effort to win my business by providing a detailed vehicle inquiry report that pretty much spelled everything out, in black and white – no tricks or other nonsense. Price wise, Mr. Bruno beat out all the other dealerships. The price difference between what Mr. Bruno offered, and what Mr. John Serbian in Riverhead wanted was close to $1,700! When the vehicle arrived at the dealership, Mr. Payton noted that it was missing the drop-in bed liner and the remote start. About a week later, he not only provided the bed liner and remote start, he also afforded me a loaner car, a Toyota Prius, that I was able to use to finish some Christmas shopping while they were working on my truck. The work took less than three hours. I’m very happy and I’m now considering the additional purchase of either a Prius or Corolla sometime in the near future. More

I went to Smithtown Toyota to purchase a new Camry. This was my first experience at a car dealership where the entire purchasing process was stress free. Tim Payton, my salesperson, was easy to talk to, treated me with respect and never tried to talk me into anything I didn't want. He told me about some of the options Toyota offered but I told him that I just wanted the car the way it came. His answer to me was, "That's fine". He then gave me a price which I found to be good based on the research I did previously. After we came back from the test drive I gave him a deposit. I can't leave Mitch Sirota out of this process. Mitch handled all of the finances. He explained everything to me clearly and I left his office knowing where every cent was going. He, like Tim, was very easy to talk to. If I hear of anyone who wants to purchase of lease a Toyota I will have no hesitation recommending Smithtown Toyota for the car and Tim Payton as their salesperson. More

The experience was simply amazing. I visited almost all of the dealers in Smithtown looking for the perfect car and by far this was the most friendly, unintimidating, and enjoyable of them all. Don't be fooled by the showroom appearance, it means nothing compared to the staff. Everyone I encountered was helpful and enthusiastic. There isn't a pushy stereotypical salesman in the place. When it came time to purchase the vehicle it was as smooth as I could have ever dreamed. I cannot say enough nice things about this dealer and my salesman Tim. If you are interested in a Toyota, run over and see for yourselves. I swear you will not be dissapointed. More

I was compelled to buy a new car after the flooding from Superstorm Sandy destroyed my home and auto. A resident of Freeport, I initially searched in my local area, where, regrettably, all the salesmen I encountered personified some of the worst stereotypes. Several actually told me to take a deal (for something on the lot at its listed price) or leave it since need in the aftermath of the catastrophe outweighed demand, apparently leaving dealerships with the leverage to exploit a bad situation. On my Mom's recommendation, I called Smithtown Toyota. I was connected with Tim Payton, who made my purchase experience a pure delight, a reflection of his charming personality. If I realize that putting his clients at ease and making everyone feel special should be part of his job, my previous encounters made me even more thankful that he treated me with such friendly consideration. Knowledgeable, thorough, quick and proficient, Tim provided exemplary individualized attention within the full complement of resources of an industry leader Tim made the business of purchasing my new car under duress a pleasure. With transportation an obvious issue, we conducted the entire transaction by phone, fax and email. I wanted a Blue Ribbon Prius V III, and, although Smithtown did not have one in stock, he assured me that he would get me the model, color and package I wanted within a couple days at a fair price; and he delivered on his word. We did not meet until I picked up the car, and he was every bit the gentleman I had perceived. This was the easiest car transaction I have ever negotiated. I am excited to have a car again -- one that I really want...and NEED. Beyond the appeal of his good humor, the personal and professional integrity reflected in the quality of Tim's customer service is a characeristic that will retain and build clientele.
