If zero stars were possible that is what this rating would be. We have never experienced such poor service both from the service department and sales department. We have owned a Cadillac for 3 years and would be. We have never experienced such poor service both from the service department and sales department. We have owned a Cadillac for 3 years and routinely used Lindsay for service prior to the pandemic. Last week we took our car in for service and to check a few maintenance concerns and were ghosted for the remainder of the week. No returned calls, no updates, no notification that they would be keeping the car over the weekend. Today, our car is finally ready, and not only did I have to wait 45 minutes for a returned phone call to book a Lyft so that I can come get the car, but then when I called back concerned about the ride not showing up for 30 minutes (which is a very long time for a Lyft) I was treated like I was an idiot and like it wasn’t their problem - directly from the Sales Director himself. I expressed my disappointment with the experience and said I didn’t think we would be coming back and he said “okay no problem” so clearly they do not care about their customers experiences. Don’t waste your time, there are too many other dealerships nearby to deal with this sort of treatment. More

This dealership will do just about anything to make a sale including lying, withholding information and twisting stories. In particular, General Manage, Tim Robinson and sales representative John Vyas h sale including lying, withholding information and twisting stories. Excellence in Service I normally don't write reviews for any customer-oriented business unless it is highly exceptional in terms of quality of service or it turned out to b I normally don't write reviews for any customer-oriented business unless it is highly exceptional in terms of quality of service or it turned out to be very negative experience. I can tell you from my personal experience that Lindsay Cadillac of Alexandria is definitely the former because of their product, people and service. I was thoroughly impressed with how knowledgeable, professional and friendly their sales representatives were when I interacted with them both over the phone and in-person. In fact, I want to call out my particular sales rep, Mr. Jay Emejuru, for his honesty, diligence, excellent service and professionalism because if it wasn't for him, I would have not taken the time to write this review. Like most experienced car buyers, I conduct my own thorough analysis and research on all prospective vehicles regardless if the vehicle new or used and nothing angers me more than you are fed a line of bs from a car salesman who is trying meet his monthly sales quota. What I liked the most about Jay is that he responded to all my questions with respect to history of the vehicle with integrity, and when he didn't know the answer to my question, he researched it and got back to me promptly with the correct response based on his research. I really appreciated his willingness to help. In my interactions with Jay, I always felt that I was in control of the car buying process and he assisted me tremendously by providing me the answers I needed to make an informed decision. Seasoned car buyers understand that buying a vehicle is a significant financial commitment and I wanted to make sure I wasn't buying a lemon or being pushed a vehicle I didn't want. Jay accomplished all of this in highly respectful and courteous manner. Regardless of the quality of the vehicle, I would never buy or finance a vehicle from dealership that ignores or looks down upon prospective customers with hubris and treats them like garbage. Lindsay Cadillac of Alexandria gets it. They understand that "service to the customer" is extremely important--it makes the difference between customer walking out angry or a vehicle sold. My interactions with Jay Emejuru are a testimony to this fact. Based on my favorable experiences, I would highly recommend Jay Emejuru and Lindsay Cadillac of Alexandria to any potential future car buyer. More

Managers/Sales Director Beyond RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL Before discussing managers and sales director, I must say that AMA GIBSON blew it out of the water with her professionalism, listening skills, kindnes Before discussing managers and sales director, I must say that AMA GIBSON blew it out of the water with her professionalism, listening skills, kindness, respectfulness, and overall desire to treat her customer with care and concern. Her number one goal is customer dedication. She stayed way beyond the time the dealership closed to complete the deal. The managers and sales director need to be in refresher courses on how to treat people with dignity and respect. They are extremely biased against women that know how to make a car deal and resorted to treating me as inferior to what they must consider their male superiority. The deal for my CTS was made over the course of a week online and through phone and text communications. Ama always replied promptly and worked extremely hard for me. Additionally, they offer men different prices than women!! Jim Redden says he can override any deal a sales manager makes. I informed them I wanted the car and I was driving 6 hours to purchase this car, cash deal, and was told if they sold it before I arrived, then it would just be gone. I emailed Tim Robinson with my concerns who always says on reviews if there are any problems to contact him personally to resolve. He only forwarded my email to Redden. Redden called as I was driving up there and said we needed to chat. I called his cell 3 times and left him a message. He never answered. I called the dealership to connect me to his office and still no answer. He was told I was trying to call and still never answered or returned my call. I contacted my Sales person, Ama, and told her the issue. I told her to go ahead and have the car cleaned and detailed as we had a long drive back. The managers/directors REFUSED to allow it to be cleaned until after I got there and drove it. Redden knew it would be late when we arrived. It was 6:45. What should have taken 30 mins. to complete the deal took over 3 hours of sitting and waiting while nothing happened. I signed the sales papers and waited forever for a finance manager and for the car to be cleaned. All managers and Redden made sure to be gone before I arrived at Lindsay Cadillac. Finally, another Finance Manager had to be called in to do the paperwork. I was treated beyond rude and disrespectful. The manager or director left a gift for me with, Ama. It was a cloth bag with 2 HOLES IN IT! I told her to tell them to keep it. In my opinion, they wanted to make my experience there as miserable as possible. AMA WAS EXCEPTIONAL AND WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND AND APOLOGIZED FOR THE EXPERIENCE. SHE is a tremendous sales rep.and knows how to treat a customer. By the time we left the dealership it was getting close to 10 PM!! I have never been treated in that manner and those men should be shamed by their arrogance and seemingly chauvinistic attitudes. We still had a 6 hour drive back to WV, eating dinner at 11:30 at night, we ended up having to get a hotel. As an owner of this dealership I would be appalled at such poor customer respect as was received by, Robinson, Redden, and Eader. No courtesy to even meet me or thank me for my business with them. They even made one price deal to my brother the night before and a different deal to me. I had been trying to make a deal for a week with Ama working her hardest to make it happen. It was obvious they did not want to deal with me. My brother made one phone call and got a better deal! There is a serious problem with that. My best friend accompanied me to Lindsay and she was absolutely livid at how they were treating us. Thank you, Ama for being a first class person. The dealership is extremely lucky to have you!! Worst experience ever at that dealership. The only positive thing was Ama who was trying to make everything right. I sincerely hope that Chad Lindsay will address this issue so other women can avoid being treated as a second class citizen in a business owned by him. THANK YOU, AMA!!! More

Used Car Nightmare - NO Integrity Here DO NOT BUY USED vehicles here. Used Car Scammers, NO Integrity What-so-Ever In Feb 2018, I found a used Acura MDX at a decent price. I'm a mom, wo DO NOT BUY USED vehicles here. Used Car Scammers, NO Integrity What-so-Ever In Feb 2018, I found a used Acura MDX at a decent price. I'm a mom, working professional that needed a good working car, kid transporter, something we could easily maintain and pay-off. Will facilitated my vehicle selection, Barabra sold me a Powertrain Warranty with Fidelity. They advised that the warranty was the best coverage for a higher mileage vehicle. The car was sold AS-IS. Besides the middle console cup holder, key batteries not working. I asked if there were any major issues? They responded "NOPE, it's a great car, just beautiful condition. You got a great deal." The day I drove home, Will advised that "should I need anything, have any problems, please give him a call." The day after purchasing, I noticed some strange sounds, I bought the car back in and the made some rotor adjustments. Each week I noticed I was getting gas every 3-4 days. I took the car to my local Acura dealer for a vehicle inspection, they advised that there was a fuel pump leak. They called Fidelity and this was not a covered warranty item. In the less than 2 months that I've owned this car, I've learned that I was sold a SUPER LEMON! There is HEAVY CARBON BUILD UP ON THE ENGINE, SPARK PLUGS NEED REPLACEMENT, TIMING BELT will need replacement at any time now, FUEL PUMP is leaking! Easily $3-4,000 worth of repairs. I called and left a voicemail on 4/16/18 for Tim Robinson the GM, he passed my message to Jim Rudden. I hoped that being a higher-end, family-owned business that they would be upstanding, considerate and willing to assist me in some way. Not only was Mr. Rudden condescending and uncaring to me, he basically said, "Oh well, you'll have to work with Acura now." "You bought it AS-IS -- we won't be fixing any of the regular maintenance issues!" I was so blown by the rude tone and lack of integrity. Jim did offer to "sell me another, NEWER car ... WHY would I give Lindsay any more money!?! Why would we ever do business here again? Here is the thing. I went in asking for a reliable vehicle. I was on a budget for the downpayment. I ASKED about the condition of the vehicle. They said it is sold AS-IS is normal for mileage that high. WHY WOULD YOU NOT BE TRANSPARENT, HONEST with a customer. This is so upsetting to me and my family. We've had the car less than 2 months and I'm just being hung out to dry for repairs we can't afford and are now upside down nearly $5,000 if you include the cost of repairs, payments made and the downpayment we gave the dealership. If any attorneys, consumer affairs reporters are reading this, please reach out to us. I am now on a campaign to change the laws so that WARNING LABELS should be added on used vehicles so that unsuspecting consumers can't be taken advantage of in the future. If you value integrity, a company that will stand behind their transactions and just is respectful of your investment. The Lindsay family of dealerships should ABSOLUTELY be avoided. More
