I know I’ve purchased at least 12 vehicles at James Wood Motors mostly in Denton and at least one in Decatur. These staff members set an extremely high professionalism, courtesy, caring, friendly, and most knowledgeable experience each and every visit. They go above and beyond from start to finish in every buying experience. My dealings with the service is always on time and completed expeditiously. My 2024 Silverado started having transmission problems the day after my software update. 3 different times it wouldn't shift into reverse. Also, it showed reduced acceleration, or something similar to tha the day after my software update. 3 different times it wouldn't shift into reverse. Also, it showed reduced acceleration, or something similar to that. I called the dealership last Saturday and spoke to Tim Wilkins. Tim told me I could bring the truck in, but it would be 2 weeks before a technician could look at it. I bought this vehicle because my previous truck was getting old and I didn't want to start having problems with it. I don't have an extra vehicle, so I guess I'll keep driving it and hope it doesn't do further damage or leave me stranded somewhere. Totally unacceptable. More
