The treatment from Circle BMW is less than one star. I never heard of paying a diagnostic fee when you are getting a vehicle fixed. This turned me right off. From there it was all down hill. Riu Cos I never heard of paying a diagnostic fee when you are getting a vehicle fixed. This turned me right off. From there it was all down hill. Riu Costa, the service rep, advised me that I wouldn't have to pay the diagnostic fee if I told them what to fix. I was PRETTY sure but not positive. Who does this? Paul Miller BMW in Wayne NEVER does this. They are MUCH better. Going to this dealership with an X5, with 62k, already on its third oil leak, the last thing I wanted to hear were bad excuses from the service rep and his assistant manager, name unknown, having black waves shoulder length hair. I advised them that my boyfriend had a 2013 Silverado with 120k miles on it with no oil leaks. Riu Costa said "Bring it in. I guarantee it's leaking". Who says that to a customer. And no, it does not have an oil leak. There certainly is no oil on the ground nor is it smoking like my garage kept meticulously taken care of, 2013 X5. The first oil leak was at 38k miles, the second was at 51k miles and now number 3 is at 62k. Most would feel my frustrations but not ONCE did Rui Costa or his assistant manager say "I feel your frustrations." or something along those lines. Instead, I got from the assistant manager, "Maybe this isn't the car for you." "Sell it! It's a sellers market." Yes, it is a sellers market but as most people know, it is NOT a buyers market. There is no inventory on vehicles for the past 2 or so years. I did not go to this dealership for a lecture on if my SUV was the car for me nor did I want to be told that an SUV with three oil leaks was not the vehicle for me. Everything I said had a snarky response. Not by one service rep but by the service rep and his assistant manager standing over me. While the assistance manager looked at my service records from work that had been done at Paul Miller, he stated "Well you got a good price here and a good price there." So am I to think this guy is going to give me a good price. Rui Costa and his assistant manager was argumentative and disrespectful. Since I take great care of my vehicles, had they said if you get it fixed here, we will put the diagnostic price of $199 towards fixing your vehicle ($1979 for the valve cover) I actually would have done it because I was desperate. So glad my boyfriend told me to walk out. I got a price for the valve cover and the spark plugs changed for $1500 from a trustworthy mechanic up north. BTW, I drove 50 minutes to be treated like garbage. I did tell them that Jennifer, from BMW of North America would be contacting them. Assistant manager, "Oh, they won't do anything." Bam!!!! Just keep it coming with attitude. He was right, Jennifer "Jennie" did not do anything BUT she was very understanding. She listenened and seemed to care even if she didn't. Im sure she didn't. Sometimes a customer needs to be heard. There is more but this is enough time wasted. Nothing will be done but I will be sure to spread my experience on social media, and tell friends and family. You lost out on $2100. That's nothing for you, I get it. If I convince a few people not to buy a BMW, it will be worth it. I have owned two BMWs. I will NEVER own another. Terrible service. Terrible attitude. More
