Great second experience! Being a woman and an older woman at that, I am used to negative reactions with large purchases. About 2 months ago I went to get a new car and asked for the salesman my husband had used a month before: he came right out, took a look at me and said "Oh I am busy someone else would come to help". That someone was so disinterested in showing me cars and answering questions it was rude. I stayed(for some reason) and picked a color not on the lot. He called me and told me I would have to take one that was on the lot. "NO No" I told him, "I would not take what was on lot" Fast forward...while getting another one of our Toyotas serviced, I told an extremely nice service tech, Tina, my story and she said "Rene Poche, would be the key to great experience". AND he was! Very wonderful experience 2nd time. Driving a great new car! More

Purchase and maintenance experiences over 17 years. I purchased my Toyota Tacoma Prerunner in 1999. The purchase process was easy and pleasant. Then as the years passed and I went in for my 6-month main I purchased my Toyota Tacoma Prerunner in 1999. The purchase process was easy and pleasant. Then as the years passed and I went in for my 6-month maintenance and sundry minor repairs, the service department became almost like family! David has always been there for me. He's been so helpful, pleasant, always patient, and always a gentlemen. Tina has been there for, I think, three years and is delightful, smiling and always helpful. I depend on them to help me - at a moment's notice! Yesterday my brake light came on at 7:00 AM. I was on my way to my studio. So, no problem, I just drove into the service department at Lakeside Toyota. David and Tina were there, with their usual smiles and help. As it turned out I needed new brakes, which were installed within a few hours. And actually I was delighted!! You see, I've spent to little on repairs to my wonderful truck and I trust the honesty of this dealership so completely, that when a repair is needed I'm happy to have it done. And I certainly don't want to drive around with bad brakes. I don't know the mechanics (I wish I did so I could thank them in person) but somehow they keep my truck running perfectly all the time. I love Lakeside Toyota and recommend it to everyone I talk to. I'm always singing its praises! And while I don't know everyone as well as David and Tina, everyone is delightful and helpful. You really couldn't find a better dealership. I love Toyotas and I love Lakeside Toyota Dealership. More
