Experienced Personal consultant, not a car salesman. I recently moved to the US from India last year. Been in the market for a car for about 4 months and am the kind of buyer that likes to be very well r I recently moved to the US from India last year. Been in the market for a car for about 4 months and am the kind of buyer that likes to be very well researched and do a comparative survey of all options before I seal the deal. I knew I wanted something in the luxury crossover space and had narrowed it down to Mercedes GLC, Lexus Rx, BMW x3, Audi Q5. I had virtually compared all features online and my plan was to sequentially test all of them and then decide. Well, this is a review of how I entered the Mercedes showroom and never had to go to any other after that. In a week I had zeroed on my car and a week after that I drove out in it :) Tom Cola is the man behind this. He never once made it about the sale or the car....it was always about me. I did not feel like I am dealing with a salesman, rather an experienced personal consultant. He offered me practical perspectives and points of view, shared key information that helped me make the decions best suited for me. I visited the showroom several times during those 2 weeks and he was always helpful, informative, patient and consultative in all of them. He also did a lot of crisp quick follow ups on the phone where needed. I was blown by the AMG styled GLC awd with its plush luxurious interior, sporty powerful handling, classic minimalistic elegance in black and white, cutting edge technology born in 2016 and a burmestor surround sound that was truly superior. Tom not only helped make my decision making process quick and bang on with my personal style, prefernces and situation....he guided me most helpfully through the paperwork, insurance etc. A lot of it was done over the phone and mail where possible for my convenience. Special mention of the manager Derrick Fox who also helped my case for the lease go through after a lot of support and representation on my behalf. Proud to be a new member of the Mercedes Benz club....my first mercedes and my first car in the USA...and I will always be grateful to the 2 gentleman that assisted me...Tom all the way, with key inputs from Derrick. More
