Hats off to Liberty and Jeff M. We are on our third Subaru. Got the first one at another dealership - great car, but never went back to that dealer. Now wouldn't go anywhere else. Just got a 2015 Forester, which we love (much nicer than previous models), and there is no reason to think that we won't go back to Liberty when it's time for #4. Finally, while everyone there is very helpful and knowledgeable, we highly recommend seeking out Jeff Miletta in sales. He handled both of our transactions, troubleshoots any questions we have and, in general, is our "all around go-to point man." We know, from research and experience, that Jeff has always presented us with the best pricing around, no haggling required. More

Tom Portee also did a great job explaining the financing and getting me a great rate. My whole experience so far at Liberty Subaru has been great. My first Subaru and when I'm ready for another one I'll be back to Liberty. More

Truthful Outback 2015 I did not visit many dealer to get my new Outback 2015. I spent around 6 months looking for my new car. Subaru was always on the list of car that se I did not visit many dealer to get my new Outback 2015. I spent around 6 months looking for my new car. Subaru was always on the list of car that seemed interesting enough but never had experience with. It was always difficult to try a new brand especially when you literally have not got many chances and it can be almost like a bad investment if you have to turn it in for another one. So to me buying a car is a BIG deal. My first Subaru showroom visit did not go well. I did not feel welcomed and so walked away. I came to Liberty Subaru and Ed had made it easy for me. It is all about being honest and truthful conversation especially when this was going to be your first time to try something new. Ed gave me a few examples of his clients and the reason for them to buy Subaru. I think this is what really matters to me most. Ed was also very truthful about the timing on the new car order. He was again very good with his timing. I had been three months and no calls from him. I was little anxious and gave him a call last week. He basically told me that my car was in Boston and it would soon arrive to the showroom. It did and here I am with my new car today. It was very smooth and no hassle when you dealt with an honest and truthful dealer. More

Outstanding experience I just got my custom ordered WRX on Monday. Almost 3 weeks sooner than they said I would have it. And it is brilliant. Dave Finkel was my salesman. Not only was he knowledgeable but so enthusiastic and personable, I feel like I made a friend for life. I met him when I was there getting my old Legacy serviced. We emailed back and forth for a few weeks before I ordered. He got me a great price, kept me updated and seemed to really share in my own delight at owning this amazing car. Bob in service is awesome also. This is my family's 7th Subaru from Liberty, and we get them serviced there also. Bob always makes me feel like he takes my concerns seriously. I have been to other mechanics that make me feel like they think I am just a dumb woman. Bob never makes me feel like that. He is truly the best. I can't recommend this dealership enough. Even though they have grown over the years, they still retain that small company feeling. I have been and will continue to be their customer forever. It is worth the travel for me to go to Emerson when there are other dealerships much closer to my home. I am more than satisfied. Thank You Liberty Subaru Family. Oh, and I LOVE my car. Absolutely the best dealership experience ever! Absolutely wonderful experience purchasing my pre-owned Subaru at Liberty thanks to Dan Meola! I never was a fan of purchasing cars through major dealerships like liberty but through Dans fantastic customer service my entire outlook on that has changed! Also another note Tom Portee was great too(finance guy) will find you the best loan at the best interest rate! I will definitely return to Liberty because of Dan Meola and Tom Portee for my next purchase and will absolutely recommend to friends and family! More

"2015 Subaru Forrester" I was talking to some friends about buying a new car in particular the Subaru Forrester and they recommended going to Liberty Subaru stating that they I was talking to some friends about buying a new car in particular the Subaru Forrester and they recommended going to Liberty Subaru stating that they were family owned and really cared about you. Being the first time to buy a vehicle on my own I was very nervous. Ed Vogel seemed to realize that and his demeanor put me at ease. Not pushy at all which was a concern of mine. He was very helpful, answered all questions and ones I didn't even ask to my satisfaction and Ed was very patient. Regarding finance I had the pleasure of working with Tom Portee who was super. He made sure that everything fit into my financial situation and made it a smooth and fun ride. Also thanks to all I had the pleasure of speaking to. Everyone was so pleasant. I surely will be back and recommend Liberty Subaru to anyone looking for a car. Thoroughly enjoying my new car !! More

I went to emerson because it was the only car dealership which had a new 2015 WRX. Talking to Ed Vogel was a pleasure to work with. Compared to the other sales people i had worked with he didn't push me into buying a different car or pressure me into getting something i didn't want. The people around were very friendly and nice and i'm glad i bought my Subaru from them. I will definitely be going back to them in the future and will definitely recommend them to friends and family. I recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new car especially a Subaru. More

Simply the Best around!! We have been dealing with Liberty Subaru since 2006. We were initially referred to them from a good friend of ours who purchased an Impreza wagon from Alex Welch at the time and was very pleased with his experience with them. We have purchased a total of 4 vehicles from them (06 STI, 06 Forester, 09 Forester, 09 Tribeca) and have been pleased with every transaction we have made with them. They are friendly, honest, patient, just an all around great buying experience. There is never pressure to buy with them, and they don't slip in hidden fees or costs (Ramsey) or try to charge you for things that come standard on the vehicle to begin with (Orangeburg). They have also met and/or beat any prices we have brought to the "negotiation table". We have referred countless people to them who have also purchased vehicles from them and were very pleased with their experience at Liberty. Great Dealership, Great Staff. We will continue to purchase and refer our friends, family, co-workers and anyone else that asks us about our Subaru. We are in no way affiliated with or work for Liberty Subaru. Liberty Subaru, Dan Meola and me: Perfect Together! I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Liberty Subaru and in particular from Dan Meola. I had not purchased a new vehicle in 13 years so I was I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Liberty Subaru and in particular from Dan Meola. I had not purchased a new vehicle in 13 years so I was really able to do my homework in terms of trim levels, price and reputation of dealerships. Entering through the Internet portal, I was introduced to Dan. It was a no-pressure process from start to finish. I told him what I wanted, what I was willing to pay... and we did the contract and shook hands. I picked up my 2015 Outback Limited with Eyesight this past Monday. Dan subsequently called me once and emailed me another time to ensure that I was happy with the vehicle. He told me he would be available anytime for any questions concerns, etc. When my wife and I need another vehicle, we will return to Liberty Subaru and ask for Dan Meola. I encourage everyone to do the same. More

I'm saying that because I'm usually suspect extremely positive and glowing reviews. Such as is mine. That being said I have to say that this has been the absolute best experience I have ever that I've had. My sales person was Dan DJ Meola. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. Not to mention low-pressure. Everything that you would look for in an excellent salesperson. As far as the rest of the car buying experience goes, financing was excellent I was able to obtain a great interest rate. In my previous experiences buying a car from other dealers I felt like just another customer and they were just trying to sell me a car and get me out the door. With Liberty Subaru it was different. They weren't just trying to sell me a car. They wanted to build a relationship. And to make sure that I was happy. Customer first. More
