Out of Warranty Help We bought a used car from a dealership for the first time a little over a month ago. Toua Yang from Luther Brookdale Toyota sold us a 2010 RAV4. I We bought a used car from a dealership for the first time a little over a month ago. Toua Yang from Luther Brookdale Toyota sold us a 2010 RAV4. I just want to take a moment to share our experience working with them. Toua and his coworkers were patient and answered a lot of questions and concerns throughout the process. The cigarette lighter outlet wasn't working (we found out a few days after buying the car) but it was covered under warranty. That and a (probably) preexisting minor cosmetic issue were fixed for free with no questions asked. Shortly after the car was out of warranty the AC began acting up. (On Tuesday it was blowing out really hot air) I made an appointment with the service department and contacted Toua (who sold me the car). We spoke on the phone briefly and also exchanged a few texts. He pulled some strings and the service department tested my refrigerant levels, filled it (it was slightly low), ran dye through it, and gave our car a car wash, all for free. Working with a dealership is intimidating and buying a used car from a dealership is something that our culture has taught us to fear. I just wanted to say that I appreciate Toua and all he's done with me and for me through this process. If you're thinking about buying a car, I had a great experience with this guy. More
