Low Mileage F-150 Found a 1993 F-150 at Carter Chevrolet listed on Craigslist and decided to check it out. The dents, faded paint, etc. indicated that it had been some sort of work truck in a past life but with only 84K miles I was intrigued. Called and talked to Trevor to confirm availability before making the drive. Arrived about an hour later to find the truck already parked out front and ready to test drive. As previously mentioned, the exterior gave the truck a lot of "character" but the interior appeared in relatively good shape. I have a strange love for old Ford trucks and this one with its 4-speed manual transmission, manual windows, and vinyl floors fit the bill. It reminded me of the trucks I used to cruise around in growing up. There isn't much to them; they're easy to clean, easy to work on, and just fun. Took it for a test drive, checked for any fluid leaks, and was pleased aside from the steering wheel, which was in bad need of alignment. I asked Trevor about bringing the price down a little to cover the repair cost. Instead, he asked the mechanic in their service department to fix it for free and said it could be ready the next day. He even offered to send somebody down to OKC to pick me up. I bought the truck and have enjoyed tinkering with it these past few days. The customer service at Carter Chevrolet is a lot better than what you find at most dealerships these days. Okarche is a small town where reputation matters and Trevor and the staff at Carter took care to protect their reputation. They were pleasant, personal, and had the truck priced to sell. Nobody was pushy and when problems like the steering wheel or me needing a ride back presented themselves, Trevor provided solutions. Not to mention, they'll buy your lunch/dinner at Eischen's, a family-owned restaurant right across the street known for its fried chicken. Overall, I was very pleased. It was nice to finally find someplace that actually treats people like valued customers. Would definitely buy from Carter again. More

Not your average dealership! My husband and I were in the market for a new car, and heard from a few different people about Carter Chevrolet. Even though its about 45 mins out of the way for us, we were willing to drive there based on all the other positive reviews. I contacted the dealership and was put in touch with Trevor. They stayed open late for us, worked with us, got us dinner, and were just all around great people to work with! Once we decided we wanted to purchase the truck, the whole process took maybe an hour and a half. We are very happy with Carter Chevrolet and would recommend! More

Was really surprised at the type of dealership it was because I expected it to be a little small town business, but it was a nice, professional dealership and they were SO friendly. Trevor was our salesperson and he was so nice to us, they go out of their way to make you relaxed, do everything exactly the way they say, plus we got a free dinner when we were done. And I think we were only there a short time. My son loves his new car, and I definitely recommend this dealership to ANY car buyer. No phoney baloney, just up front, exactly the way they say at the beginning. Nice people! More

Carter had the best price, hands down, (as well as one of the lowest document fees). They cared about making me happy and not pushing their warranties on me.
