Great company. Bought a used vehicle from them that had a slight issue with the tire pressure sensor. They fixed it no charge and noticed a slight oil leak. So they offered to fix that as well with no charge. They seem like a great honest company. More

One day after our purchase, I posted a great review. That review was only on the purchasing of the car, this review is about what happened a few days after we bought our 2024 Mazda CX5...... I'm sure i That review was only on the purchasing of the car, this review is about what happened a few days after we bought our 2024 Mazda CX5...... I'm sure in some cases the service department at Chippewa is fine, but we had a 5 day old brand new 2024 car break down on us and we could not get answers or ideas as to what was wrong with our car and instead they told us to tow it to the nearest Mazda (which happened to be White Bear Lake). I just don't feel confident when a brand new car brakes down, that the place I bought it from can't give more answers or offer more ideas/help. I never heard from the Chippewa service department again, only a sales manager. The sales manager was hinting that the dead battery was our fault and when it was discovered by White Bear that it was a defective battery (on a brand new 2024 car) that was the problem , I got a half hearted apology from Chippewa. Also, I had mentioned that we might want to use their return policy (return for any reason if under 7 days and 250 miles, no questions asked- we had 5 days and 248 miles) and that idea was basically dismissed. When you spend over $40k on brand new car it is very unnerving and frustrating, It would have been nice to not feel like it was our fault (which it was not) and not be brushed off with a "sorry, enjoy the car" I'm not 100% sure what could have been done differently, but I know that if I had sold someone a car and 5 days later it is being towed and it put the owner out (had to find a ride to work for three days) and then drive into the cities to pick up a car that should have no issues after less than a week, I would have found something to make them feel a little better. More
