I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Advantage Hyundai. Our sales rep could not have been less interested in our business. Her answers to our questions were brief and shallow. We had Advantage Hyundai. Our sales rep could not have been less interested in our business. Her answers to our questions were brief and shallow. We had to dig to get information. She was constantly looking at her phone whenever there was a lull in conversation. We received a price on a Kona based on private financing. When we inquired about financing thru Advantage, we were told the price of the car would come down around $1K. We then inquired about another car and asked for a private financing price which we received. We then decided to move forward with that car and asked for the dealer financing price. Tricia went to her sales manager and came back to tell us that the first price given was the only price regardless of private financing or financing thru Advantage. I asked to speak with the sales manager and he said to me verbatim “That is the only price I am offering you. If you don’t want to buy the car from us, you don’t have to.”. He then walked away. While I did move forward with the purchase, I really did not want to buy a car from a dealer who had so little interest in servicing a customer. My son was going back to school and I needed to get him in a car ASAP. The poor service continued with aspects regarding the In-Transit registration and sales tax rate I was charged. I pushed thru as I just wanted to be done with the transaction. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone and am filing a report with the Better Business Bureau for deceptive practices. The line bright spot was Christian the Finance Advisor. He was a pleasure to deal with and is a aware of my issues and frustrations. More
