"NEW 2018 Jeep Renegade Latitude 4x4 "
After six moths of researching for a new vehicle I had finally decided on the 2018 Jeep Renegade 4x4 latitude edition. The Renegade seemed like it had the reliability, comfort, MPG, 4x4, and style that I had been looking for.
So I set out after work to drive an hour to pick one up, I was “that guy” that showed up half an hour before close (so sorry, couldn’t get off work sooner). With all smiles, the Zimmer team approached me and I told them exactly what I wanted/ needed with no questions asked. Lee Fogal, guided me towards the showroom floor to two renegades side by side, the latitude edition and the trail hawk edition. He knew what I was looking to spend and assured me that the latitude was in my price range yet still a very cool car. I have a lot of respect for that because most salesmen/ woman try to get you to spend more money.
After the test drive I fell in love with the latitude edition Renegade in Omaha Orange! I felt absolute ZERO pressure whilst the test drive or deal process unlike the previous dozen other dealerships I’d been to. One great thing that I saw was that Zimmers employees such as Lee Fogal, Shawn & Trisha Moore stayed late, even until 9pm to make this deal with me even though the Boone County fair was going on and their families were waiting for them. Still, they were very patient and kind just like when I first walked in.
They made a great deal with me that was affordable and gave me a reasonable price for trade in. It’s now been a week since I’ve bought it, and I absolutely love the car and get comments on it constantly. Zimmer absolutely deserves this five star rating and I’m so grateful for what they were able to do for me so late at night. Thank you!
"Purchasing a used vehicle"
I found the staff quite friendly and helpful while I was trying to learn more about the vehicle I was wanting to purchase especially Trisha Moore the sales rep and Tony the finance guy. There were questions about the vehicle I was purchasing and Trisha had taken me out on a test drive and she quite knowledgeable about the vehicle and Tony worked with myself and my husband trying to cover all of the bases that needed to be covered. Overall a very helpful and knowledgeable staff.
"Not good - still bothered - trying to move on"
I went in looking for a newer dodge caravan, but not too new. I did not want big pymts. Trisha was nice, but the person assisting her was only out to help herself and complete a deal. They told me the newer van 2014 that I was looking at would not be accepted by the bank and the 2017 would. (2014 I now know would have been accepted) So I had to get the newer one in order to get a vehicle. They ended up telling me my payments would be a certain amount, that of course went higher, and then higher. They told me my van had headsets to it. Which they said they would find in the back and call me the next day since it was getting late and we had been there awhile. The next day I was told they do not have any headset and the van was "as is". I was told the amount finance included my tag and registration and I would get a check to cover that in the mail. The check was for $181 and change. The total was $450 and change. The $181 didn't even cover one part of it the tag and registration. I was told to get Gap Ins. and if I wanted to cancel it later (as long as it wasn't too late) I would get the offset check sent in the mail. O also with the Gap Ins it raised my monthly pymts an extra $16. Called to cancel it after rethinking things, the check will get sent to the bank, not me, and it does not lower my pymts back down. Many deceits. Not very happy with the service. On the other hand the vehicle is nice. With the standards that KY sets, I believe I could have gotten a nice vehicle anywhere though.
