Sal the General Manager of the dealership reached out to me by phone within minutes after I'd described my new car specifications to the internet sale Sal the General Manager of the dealership reached out to me by phone within minutes after I'd described my new car specifications to the internet sales agent who originally responded to my online inquiry on a 2020 Ford Escape SEL. He convinced me that I needed to consider Gordie Boucher Ford of Kenosha before taking the 35 mile drive to Milwaukee I'd planed to investigate a "shiny dime deal" pitched to me by phone by another dealer. I virtually turned around and drove to GBF of Kenosha (within 15 minutes of my home) based on Sal's brief, but compelling value proposition. Triston Cairo approached me in the parking lot upon my arrival at the dealership (about 15 minutes after I'd hung up from Sal) and introduced himself. He explained that Sal had briefed him on my specifications and asked that he show me a few models that seemed to meet them. He had selected two alternatives for me to review. We quickly focused on the model that I felt met all my specifications. He listened to my questions and concerns, answering every question I posed, in a thorough and understandable manner. While I never felt rushed, before I know it, Tristen and I were working collaboratively to construct a deal proposal that I felt was an exceptional value (much better than the "shiny dime" deal proposed by the Milwaukee dealership), and that he felt comfortable would be accepted by the dealership's leadership team.
