Subaru Rearview Mirror Fix I had stopped in previously on a Saturday, and they were super helpful in at least getting me a temporary fix, but told me to make an appointment if i I had stopped in previously on a Saturday, and they were super helpful in at least getting me a temporary fix, but told me to make an appointment if it didn't last. They didn't make me feel like I was inconveniencing them, even though I probably was on a busy day. I did end up needing to make an appointment to come in. And, due to the issue, White Bear had to work with an outside vendor to replace the windshield. As usual, they were helpful and made it so easy for me to get the work done! Highly recommend. More

TPMS System doesn't work and seems next to impossible to fix I am leasing a 2018 Subaru Outback from Luther White Bear Subaru. It is a very nice vehicle, but it appears that the Tire Pressure Monitoring System I am leasing a 2018 Subaru Outback from Luther White Bear Subaru. It is a very nice vehicle, but it appears that the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) must be next to impossible to fix. I had to have a front tire replaced. After the tire was replaced and the car aligned, the car drives great and I was very satisfied with the job done. The next time I drove the car, I had no tire pressures shown on the TPMS display and after about 12 miles of driving the orange low tire started to flash and then came on steady. Most likely the problem was with the sending unit in the front right tire which I had to have replaced. I took the car in for servicing and after everything was checked, I was told that a new TPMS sensor on the wheel needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, the sensor was not in stock and had to be ordered. I had a future appointment set up for the following week. Since the tire pressures where checked and were okay, I drove the car with the low tire light always on. No problem since I knew the TPMS was at fault. When I had my next appointment, a new sensor was installed in the front right tire. I was told that the TPMS problem was fixed and everything was back to normal. When I drove the car home, I checked the TPMS tire display for tire pressures. I had no readings for any of the tires. I took the car back to Subaru to show them that the TPMS system still didn't work. After checking things for an hour, I was told that a future appointment was necessary to have the TPMS system diagnosed to find the problem. I took the car home knowing that the TPMS system was not working. About 12 miles later, the TPMS warning notice appeared, the low tire pressure light started flashing, and then the light came on permanently. I am awaiting the appointment to have the system diagnosed to get everything fixed. In the meantime, I have checked all four tires before using the car to make sure that I really do not have any low tire pressures. HOPEFULLY NEXT WEEK AN EXPERT WILL BE ABLE TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. It should be relatively simple since everything started with getting a new tire. I guess I would check the right tire TPMS sending unit and replace it again. After that, there must be some reset which would need to be done to the car's computers so that all four sensors would send the pressures to the TPMS display. Hopefully the Subaru mechanics get this fixed on the next try. More

Great people, honest work, very expensive. I had a great experience when my Outback was due for 100k mile service. Peng Lee helped me understand why the services were necessary and hooked me up with a loaner car, at no charge to me. The service is great and they actually know how to do the work. I value the integrity Subaru employees have. I never feel like their trying to sell me something I don't want or need. The flip side of this coin is that they're pretty expensive compared to non dealers. But I feel the trade off is worth the price I paid. Now my Outback is set for another 100k miles. More
