I bought a LEMON (2007 Corvette) at Indy Auto Man! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY A USED VEHICLE FROM INDY AUTO MAN!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU MUST BUY A VEHICLE FROM THESE GUYS, BE SUR BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY A USED VEHICLE FROM INDY AUTO MAN!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU MUST BUY A VEHICLE FROM THESE GUYS, BE SURE TO THOROUGHLY LOOK THE CAR OVER FIRST, OR HAVE YOUR OWN (TRUSTED) MECHANIC INSPECT THE CAR FIRST!!!!!!!! FYI: NONE OF THIS STORY IS FABRICATED!!!!! I drove 4 hours out from St. Louis and bought a 2007 Corvette with 12,300 miles on it for $27,700 that I saw on Autotrader, thinking I was getting the bargain of the year....... When I got to the dealership, I looked inside and I noticed the bottoms of both of the leather seats were cracked (I'm guessing from weathering & sunlight). They DID NOT show pics of these cracked seats on Autotrader, nor did they mention this to me. They did repair the cracked seats when I asked them about this, but Sam Wheeler (my salesman) made a smartass comment: "the car is 10 years old, what did you expect?"... And this guy is their award winning salesman!? So, as I'm driving the car back to St. Louis, it begins to rain.... When I turned on the windshield wipers, the rubber on the wipers immediately starts peeling off of the wiper blades!!! Then, when I got back home and took a closer look at this car, BOTH air filters and the cabin air filter were completely clogged with dirt and dust! I changed the filters AND I changed the oil (which was about 2 years old (according to the oil change sticker in the corner of the windshield)... When I took the car to get it inspected it FAILED inspection due to the rear brakes were completely worn out (almost metal on metal), and there were cracks in between the tire tread from dry rot (even though the tires had lots of tread on them)... Also, the mechanic that inspected my Corvette informed me that the "cradle bolt" on the driver's side on the front-end of the car was broken in half and the broken bolt was welded to the nut on the sub-frame.....WELDED!!! This caused a clunking sound whenever you turned the steering wheel from side-to-side. This had me puzzled at first, but then the clunking went away once I had the cradle bolt replaced at the Chevy dealer. THEN over the next few days, I started finding little pieces of broken glass on the floor inside of the car!!! When I took the car to get the windows tinted, the guy doing my window tint said my driver's side window was an aftermarket windows (so that must've been the glass that was smashed at some point.........(lovely!).. After I complained about how many things were wrong with the car (that Indy Auto Man FAILED to mention to me), Michael Lawson at Indy Auto Man was nice enough to send me a check in the mail for $786 to cover some of the repair bills and for my troubles. I probably spent over $1200 getting everything fixed on my car, and I STILL have yet to replace the rear tires, due to the dry rot cracks. This will cost me anywhere from $500 - $800... NONE OF THIS STORY IS FABRICATED!!!!! So again.......I don't care how much praise you hear or read about Indy Auto Man, IF YOU BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER, YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!!!! More

This was my first experience buying a car and I was very impressed with the experience. Noe and Lisa were the salespersons on my purchase and they both did a wonderful job. They both were very knowledgeable about Infinities as well as open and honest. The rest of the staff was very friendly including Gene (administration) and Scott (Director of Finance). Everything was great, however, there were two minor things I'd say they could do from a customer service aspect. The first thing was my gas tank wasn't filled all the way. According to their store policy, they are only allowed to fill you a quarter tank. I was expecting a full tank but it is what it is. The other issue was my tires needed balanced and when I went to go pick up the car Noe had informed me their machine to do the tire balance was down and couldn't perform the service. However, they are covering the costs at a nearby Firestone to get the tires balanced and that was relieving, but I wish they would've taken care of this issue before hand. Like I said, those were MINOR issues but it's what separates them from getting 4 stars instead of 5. This is a great dealership and I highly recommend. Thank you Indy Auto Man More
