I can't say enough about how different our experience with Ourisman was than our experience the day before with Jim Coleman in Clarksville where we ha I can't say enough about how different our experience with Ourisman was than our experience the day before with Jim Coleman in Clarksville where we had to walk out at the last minute. We left Jim Coleman after a full-day of haggling and being left alone while "negotiations" happened in a back room, after learning that a major part of our vehicle (added leather) was not at all as described when we were shown final photos during the financing process. It was a frustrating experience that honestly left me in tears wanting to just give up on getting a Honda Odyssey. In comes Ourisman to save the day! We decided to call up the other dealership that contacted us through the USAA auto circle and describe our situation. I can't say enough about how kind, fast, and pressure-free the experience with Ourisman (in particular, Earl the Director of Sales whom we spoke with on the phone the night after leaving Jim Coleman) and also Mfon who assisted us in person the next day when we came in to finalize the deal. Mfon, in addition to being very young and handsome (he'll get a kick out of this part) was kind, respectful, courteous, and never left us alone for more than a few minutes, and even then described where he was going and what he was doing (and it was always related to our sale). Car dealerships like Jim Coleman are the reason why everyone dreads going in to buy a new car. Visit Mfon at Ourisman and I can promise you, you will leave feeling like you made a friend while you happened to also buy a car at a great price. More

However, I made the mistake of going to several other dealerships first before getting the living xxxx aggravated out of me and ending back with Isaac. The experience with the whole Ourisman VW team in Laurel was completely different (and different in the best possible way). Isaac set me up to test drive the new car with Richie Nunez, and Richie knows GTIs inside and out (and owns one himself). Working with Isaac and Richie was an absolute joy for my wife and I. They made the new car buying experience what it should be.....a pleasure that most of us only get to experience a few times in our life if we are the lucky and fortunate ones. Although Isaac didn't have the exact trim and color that I wanted on the lot, he gave me the best price (out of 6 dealerships) and had the exact car I wanted within two days. Before I left that night, Richie brought his own personal GTI down to demonstrate some of the cool features in this car like Apple Car Play, one touch roll down windows, and Think Blue driving to get better gas mileage. I really appreciated the personal touch that Richie provided. Richie, who drives a manual transmission himself picked up my car from another dealership. Because of his knowledge of the vehicle, his courteous and professional demeanor, and his general "likeability" as a person, I had no qualms about him driving my new 6 spd manual from Virginia. It only had 43 miles on the odometer when I took delivery. Lastly, anyone I know who is looking to buy a new VW will be sent directly to Isaac and Richie. They're like a dynamic duo! PS - Shout out to Ron Lane too for offering great service in the past and looking forward to more great service in the future. More
