to start off with i would like to tell you that i bought my first car at gearhart checrolet in 1971..since then i have bought or leased chevy station wagons. impalas. chevelle,and my last 5 cars have been my first car at gearhart checrolet in 1971..since then i have bought or leased chevy station wagons. impalas. chevelle,and my last 5 cars have been malibus..so iam part of the chevrolet and gearhart family[ minus my mistake in the mid 80s i tried another manufactor] wont tell you who but iam back with chevy and gearhart] my latest malibu 2011 was in for service on february 6.,2013,,had problem with check engine light and the air check valve was stuck..made a call to the service dept that morning,,was told to bring in the car that afternoon and they would take a look and see what the problem was..i brought the car in that afternoon,,the service deptment told me they had to order the part and it would be in the next day..they gave me a rental car that afternoon they also called me the following day and told me they replaced the part but it was not up to gearharts standard and they would like to keep the car another day to check out the problem..and asked me in it was a inconviance to me if i kept the rental car another day..i told them that would be ok with me..the next day as promised bernie fearon called and told me everything was checked out and my car was ready to pickup. i went to gearhart that afternoon with the idea that i would have to pay for something but i was told all repairs where covered including the car rental,,i do have a exsteded warranty but i was prepared to pay..in this day and age when the slogan ' buyer beware' is used a lot , it was so good to work with people from gearhart,,who do care and do the right thing, i want to thank bernie fearon , mary keller, joe and gary in the service dept for all there help over the years and even though i dont no the names of the mechanics they all are top flight people.i just want to take this opertunity to thank all the people at gearhart for a job well done.. ihave been with the gearhart family since the 1970s and will countinue to do buisness with them in the future. i also would highly recommend them to my friends..once again i normally dont take the time to write reviews but.......i just want to say THANK YOU TO ALL GEARHART EMPLOYES.. and keep up the good work thomas mcdonald butler nj More

I had a very pleasant experience from the moment I spoke to Walter on the telephone, until I drove my new truck off of the dealer lot. Everyone, including the owner, Mrs. Schumacher-Tilton, were extremely to Walter on the telephone, until I drove my new truck off of the dealer lot. Everyone, including the owner, Mrs. Schumacher-Tilton, were extremely attentive and honest throughout my car buying experience. The General Sales Manager John also helped me get a fantastic interest rate on for my truck and I couldn't be happier. It's not really common to experience true professionalism, honesty and integrity in the car sales business, but I'm happy to say that I did experience it at Gearheart. I hope God blesses all the Gearheart and Schumacher Chevrolet families with more than they could ever dream and hope for in sales and new customer business. Keep up the great work. Truly, Robin More

Although I had purchased a used Jaguar from Gearhart in 1964, I had no need to buy a new vehicle from them since then as my travels never brought me past their door. Since my current car expired on Christmas morning I was literally pushed into a position of buying a replacement. Looking on the web I had a number of quotes come into my mailbox and it was Andy Garcia who persevered and convinced me to come to Gearhart. Once I arrived it was Walter Schwarz and Damon Velasquez who took over the paperwork and delivery process. Both gentlemen were a pleasure to deal with and made the entire process very easy for me. This I might add was performed as furniture was being removed from the facility in preparation for the new building construction. My Equinox in fact was the last vehicle to be delivered from the old building. Coming from a Beemer to a Chevy gave me pause, but I am delighted with my new high tech Chevy and would recommend Gearhart to anyone. More

Didn't get to meet Andy face to face but he got us in the door. Loved the no pressure attitudes. Walter was a pleasure to work with. Again no pressure. It was a friendly dealership there wasn't any pushiness to how they sold a car and were very helpful. I came in for an oil change and left with a car ... I was given very good advise from Gary in the service dept as to why i should trade my 07 impala LT for an 07 impala LTZ,,and if it were not for Walter I given very good advise from Gary in the service dept as to why i should trade my 07 impala LT for an 07 impala LTZ,,and if it were not for Walter I would have left the dealer ship with the car I was having serviced instead of the new one,And I am a repeat customer I bought my first Impala from Walter 3 yrs ago. And every time i see Walter he goes out of his way to say hello even when i see him outside of the dealership on his day off. And as far as service goI aways get a warm welcome. When i was out of work Gary worked with me to make sure my car was serviced as needed and advise on what could wait. OVerall best Dealer that I have ever used. More

When Walter pulled the car to the window, I knew that I'd be making a purchase. Walter facilitated the entire transaction, always with a smile and making me feel appreciated. Marc Weber was my business manager, and handled the financial end with great professionalism and without pressure. After our experience, my husband is now thinking about getting a car from Gearhart - we will definitely be back! More
