Went from an honest dealership to one that can't be trusted. Was told I couldn't buy the car I wanted because someone else was buying it, and another more expensive model was pushed off on me at a time trusted. Was told I couldn't buy the car I wanted because someone else was buying it, and another more expensive model was pushed off on me at a time when I had to have a car, with no time to shop elsewhere. The car I am now stuck with does not get the rated gas mileage, like my original Ioniq did, and I find that to be unacceptable, since the gas mileage was why I was interested in the car to begin with. As far as feeling like I got a good deal, I feel quite the opposite; I feel like I got taken down a pile I can't back up on. BUYER BEWARE! This is not the former First Team Auto, which was a pleasure doing business with when I bought my original Ioniq. This is now Southern Team, which seems, based on the deal (or lack thereof) that I got. My first Ioniq was under $30K and regularly got me 60mpg or better, but this new car is costing me in excess of $42K and get 10 - 15 mpg less than my first Ioniq. I drive for Uber on a part-time basis and have people in my car all the time who compliment me on my car. I will promote the SE model of the car, but not this SEL model. I will suggest that if they are interested in buying one themselves, that they go somewhere other than Southern Team Auto. But if they insist on going there, they deal with someone other than Wayne Lewis. More

Service after the sale is key. This dealership fails in that area. Purchase was great. Love my Hyundai Venue. Problem was getting them to complete the paperwork for my out of state tags that I wanted trans that area. Purchase was great. Love my Hyundai Venue. Problem was getting them to complete the paperwork for my out of state tags that I wanted transferred from my vehicle that I traded, in a timely manner. It took from May 30th to October 5th with lots of phone calls, and texts and sending them my updated insurance info (because they took so long that what I gave them initially was out of date by the time they actually submitted it) to finally get it all straight. They conveniently claimed they could not reach their out of state dmv contact. I almost got a fine because of all this. Once everything was explained/proved to the DMV, they waived the fine. They could definitely keep the customer better informed of what the status is if there is any issues in the future instead of the customer having to call and badger them for info. Definitely did not feel like I was important after the sale. After all that, I will never venture back to Virginia for a "deal" no matter how good it is. Sorry to say that this one dealership ruined it for all the others but it definitely left a sour taste as far as I'm concerned. Needless to say I won't be recommending this one to anyone. More
