We arrived to find the car we were looking for had significant body damage to the roofline just above the rear door, diver’s side. We were assured that, if we purchased the vehicle and drove it home, significant body damage to the roofline just above the rear door, diver’s side. We were assured that, if we purchased the vehicle and drove it home, the repairs would be scheduled and made at no cost to us and a loner provided. We trusted the team and asked them to value our trade in. 25 minutes later, we were handed a sheet with “the numbers”. After just moment ago having promised the repairs would be made at no cost to us, $2,500 was added to the price of the vehicle (along with $1,800 for Lo-Jack system AND…. their trade in value for our vehicle was $8,000 BELOW the KBB trade average, and $7,900 lower than the CarMax guaranteed buy now offer! The car was immediately removed from all on-line sites (including the dealership’s own list of available vehicles). Shocker! This dealership is the poster-boy for SHADY DEALER TRICKS! More
