I have been in the business for almost nine years, and I pride myself on offering outstanding customer service and an excellent work ethic. I absolutely LOVE The Pacific North West, LOVE PDX, Love Oregon, and Washington! I am originally from Michoacan Mexico, so Spanish is my mother's thong. I first started as a lot attendant over at Ron Tonkin Chevrolet, in Sep of 2012, and in moved to the sales department in May of 2013. I learned so much from great people, first from my friend and former neighbor Hector P. It was thanks to him that I started in the trade, he was the head of the lot attendants team and I learned a lot from him. Having a good work team that cares for you is a blessing, especially when we spend more hours out of the day working with your team than with your own family. I have been truly blessed my whole career, I have always been surrounded by genuinely good, nice hard-working people.

Overpaid for vehicle. by nearly $2,500.00. I expected better pricing since paying cash and this was my second purchase here. I have three more vehicles to purchase but by nearly $2,500.00. I expected better pricing since paying cash and this was my second purchase here. I have three more vehicles to purchase but will go elsewhere if a better deal is not arranged. I was in a hurry to secure a vehicle this time but will not be in the same position for the next three. Please do not pass on my comments. Had a decent experience shopping for a used SUV yesterday. Our sales person, Jesse, was fantastic, especially once we broke past the salesman/customer relationship and just started talking; good gu yesterday. Our sales person, Jesse, was fantastic, especially once we broke past the salesman/customer relationship and just started talking; good guy with a pleasant demeanor. If you get the chance to buy from him, give him a shot. The finance department is where we ran into a problem. We had to repeatedly, and eventually forcefully, tell Will to stop offering us things we already said no to about 5 times. We were paying cash and only had a certain amount of money, no amount of talking was going to get us to buy things we literally can't pay for. Then he straight-up lied to us and said he's "legally required" to try to sell us clear-coating and a warranty even after we already to him no 5 times. It is ILLEGAL to say that to a customer, and I hope his employers understand that. There is no law saying he *must* try to up-sell clear-coating over and over again. Avoid him unless you want to be lied to repeatedly. Then he actually belittled us for telling him "No, we already declined," by saying "We'd already be done by now if you'd let me go through this," even though we had, again, already declined FIVE TIMES. But, beyond the negative experience with the Financer (which was only about 5% of the time spent at the dealership), the overall buy was good. Our salesman was kind and patient, the car was nice (needed a little cleaning before we drove off, but that happens sometimes), the price was fair, and the majority of the experience was a positive one. Mehdi Jamil was wonderful and worked with us kindly and patiently. It was significantly more than we planned to pay. It is a great car and I am excited and hopeful it will meet our needs nicely.
