I Spoke to Michelle (service department) who guaranteed me that everything would be ok with the help of Matt (sales department) who went above and beyond to assist me. Both gave exceptional customer service and made me feel like family. I left there knowing that I made the right decision for the new year. Now I’m driving my brand new 2020 Acura ILX. Defective certified car and unable to diagnose and fix issue I bought certified preowned 2010 Acura TL from this dealership in 7/2018 but car has been giving problems couple of days after being purchased from t I bought certified preowned 2010 Acura TL from this dealership in 7/2018 but car has been giving problems couple of days after being purchased from this dealership. The car has been back to them multiple times without resolution of the original problem of the alarm going on randomly while car is parked in the drive way. Recently I spent additional 4 K on this car to get this alarming issue resolved but problem recurred anad was taken back to this dealership service center again in November. After keeping car for few days I was reassured that it problem will not recur but again this car started to alarm last night at 1145 PM waking me up and my neighbors. I have emailed dealership owner, Kenny Hicks on 10/21 about this issue but I have not received any response yet. I feel very frustrated with this dealership since they are not able to diagnose the problem besides multiple visits to their service center and after spending additional 4K in October 2019. Please help me to resolve this issue. It is so inconvenient to wake up at 3-4 AM by this car alarm to stop it from waking up our neighbors. Otherwise I may end up reporting this to BBB or IG office. I dropped off my car for some issues on vibrating steering wheel when braking on high speed. They fixed it with replacing the rotors, the brake pads and flushed the brake, and an oil change. The car I bought from them as CPO and has only 33,000 miles on it. The multipoint inspection is included but when I got back the car I notified the advisor that look like the multipoint inspection was not performed. I said this because I noticed the tires were not inflated to proper pressure. 33, 36, 36, 33 are the pressures as indicated. I haven’t check if they top off all the fluids. Total bill is a shy off $1,000. I got a loaner car, they fixed the problem, got it back on the same day, a bit pricey repair, nice staffs, missed the goal of proper multipoint inspection so I’ll give this visit a 4 star. More

Out of sight is out of mind I've been to this dealer for service many times before and switched to it from the other option in lower Westchester where I'd purchased the car, and I've been to this dealer for service many times before and switched to it from the other option in lower Westchester where I'd purchased the car, and where the service itself was substandard (the other place was very cramped, and they actually damaged the body on the brand new car and they always close early!) I made an appointment this go round two weeks out, which was the first available date for a B1 service. For the first time ever, since I had an early meeting in the city, I opted to do the early drop off. That was the mistake. I dropped the car at 7 a.m. and hustled to catch the 7:19 at Larchmont. The valet had just arrived and was setting up, and he took my key. Well guess what, no one even looked at my car, nor had it even been logged in, until I called to check on it at 3 p.m. They had to go and find it at that point. So now they took a look and now the car needs a routine diagnostic (for which I will be charged with no give back when I opt for additional service...what ever happened to "we charge for the diagnostic but that comes back to you when you do the service here"?) which cannot be done until tomorrow because the technicians have gone home for the day. Now I'm scrambling to adjust my schedule tomorrow to accommodate for work plans without the car. I didn't sense any sympathy. The service quality here in the past was fine in my experience. I'd worked with Vanessa in the past but the reservation for service this time was assigned to someone named Jose Sabala. Honestly, I don't need a "personal" account rep. I just wanted the car serviced within a day. I shouldn't have to babysit a car dealership's service team and call to be sure they had the car and were going to service it. I had an appointment that I'd confirmed and I gave the key to a member of the service team. The oversight is on them and they should make it up. I've had much better luck when I take a day off from work and wait for service. Unfortunately, the waiting area isn't really optimal for doing work, so I kind of feel like I need to burn a vacation day--but really, should that be necessary? And the other downside to waiting is that they make note that you are waiting and start sending texts inviting you upstairs to the showroom to look at new cars. Don't do the unattended early drop off, just don't. And if you leave the car, even for a full 12-hours, set your calendar to remind you to call them about an hour after you drop off to be sure they're looking at your car. Out of sight is out of mind! I had to reschedule my appointment 3 times before they took my car, and the service person was very apologetic that they overbooked..three days in a row! Yeah, you can leave your car, don't know when we'll get to it, and uh, no loaner available... no thank you. Just tell me when you have time to work on my car. I'll wait. It was very disorganized too. Months later, my husband made an appointment through their website with a loaner for his car to be serviced and had to wait three weeks to get an appointment with a loaner, which he was willing to do. They called him the DAY BEFORE the appointment to tell him they didn't have a loaner for him despite having a loaner confirmed by email. The service department just doesn't function correctly. They can't book so many clients for the same day. Very frustrating and it leaves a bad taste. Thinking about going to Curry for service. Maybe they actually get clients in when they say they will. Acura of Westchester never used to be like this, and we've been going there for over 15 years. More
