My Review Of BMW of Tenafly:

Time and time again, this dealership and it’s employees provide the highest level of service to meet our BMW needs consistently. We are very pleased to have found this dealership almost 2 years now coming off a ‘horrific’ experience with another dealer in Bergen County that had lost their way with us, the customer.

We will continue to make BMW of Tenafly our #1 and only dealer for ALL of our BMW needs.

My Review Of BMW of Tenafly:

BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a certified pre owned 750iX from BMW of Tenafly which started having transmission problems soon after I bought it besides many other unexpected problems I had where I had to take the car to the dealership more than 10 times. I don’t mind taking the car to the dealership for repairs but my transmission problem turned into a nightmare. The car kicks forward right before coming to a stop and although I took the car back to BMW of Tenafly numerous times they are unable to repair it and I was told not to bring it for this problem because apparently they contacted BMW NA for this transmission issue and the response they got back was BMW is aware of this problem but there is no solution for it. Driving the car every day to work turned into a great pain because I am trying all sorts of weird stopping patterns in order to avoid the kick forward before coming to a stop. In certain instances the kick is strong enough to move me closer to the car in the front. The very typical response that I get from BMW of Tenafly is ‘oh all 7 series have this problem or they all make this noise’ which is nonsense. The service manager told me that he owns a Lexus with 180K miles on it and he never had problems like this, these cars are very complicated and they all have problems which they can not fix???? A car that I purchased having full faith in the manufacturer turned into my worst lemon experience. I wrote to my salesman Thomas Nehme and his response was "we will consider taking your vehicle in as a trade and we will be very aggressive in pricing the vehicle you decide to purchase" meaning I will lose 10K over this transaction. It is also interesting that they sell many CPOs that have very low mileage, how can a car have 3 owners in 28K miles? My suspicion is that they sell vehicles that were former buybacks as part of the lemon law and I ended up buying one of these. I asked for the prior service history of the car and they refused to show it to me. BUYER BEWARE!

My Review Of BMW of Tenafly:

Purchasing a new car is usually a stressful experience with lots of waiting around while the salesman "checks with his boss" and the business manager tries to sell you a bunch of add-on warranties. Not this place. Our experience here began with me sitting down with Mike Smeraglia the General Sales Manager. Great guy, asked a lot of questions, listened attentively, and was able to recommend just the right car on the first shot. When I showed up on Saturday morning with my wife he already had the car cleaned up and waiting for us at the front door. Mike introduced us to General Manager Victor Sousa, another great guy. We soon felt right at home. These guys don't hide behind their computers. In fact when we had questions about pricing or equipment, they showed us what they were seeing on their screen. Sean Mohammed was our Client Adviser. Sean is smart, polite, patient and was very helpful on the test drive. We started around 9am and drove off in a shiny (nearly new) black 328i just a couple of short hours later. (Thanks to some fast work by business manager Jose Santiago) Even though we were in and out in a hurry, the dealership has since reached out to us several times to make sure everything was OK and that we were happy. We've called them a couple of times with questions about the car. They answer their cell phones, even after hours. Overall a very nice experience.

No one at TENAFLY BMW returns phone calls, or even take time to contact you after you leave the showroom. I was actually trying to BUY a car; I wasn't begging for one. Thanks to the folks at PARK AVE BMW in Rochelle Park who not only promptly return my calls, they pleasantly took the time to work with me and got me into the X5 I wanted.

I have recently purchased a 2011 chevy equinox from bmw of tenafly. The service I received was exceptional. Howard Brown and Rich Perry were a pleasure to work with and the price was just what I was looking for. The entire process was prompt and all my questions were answered. My Review Of BMW of Tenafly:

This is the second certified pre-owned vehicle that I purcahsed from BMW of Tenafly within six months and for which I dealt with Marlen Gafanovich. Due to circumstances I needed to trade in a BMW purchased in July for a different certifiedpre-owned BMW. Marlen ws my client adviser again and never lost patience in having to give us several test rides and explaining the features of the vehicles we looked at. Hugo Santo approved a fair trade in price and took the time to explain the various issues involved and Jose Santiago ensured that the paperwork and sale finalization was as expeditious and painless s possible. All of these gentlemen, and especialyl Marlen made the purchase of both vehicles a positive and enjoyable experience. Something I can't say about other dealerships that I have purchased vehicles from in the past. Marlen made us feel like we were friends or family members rather than just customers. I would have no hesitation in reommending BMW of Tenafly and Marlen to my friends and relatives and in fact would encourage them to purchase a BMW just because of these employees.

We went in to lease the X3 special advertised on their website along with a trade and we had the pleasure of working with Marlen. We worked out an amicable trade for my M3 and he quickly got us into the X3 the very same day. He was very understanding of our situation and expedited the process. We can't wait to go back to lease our next vehicle from BMW of Tenefly.

My Review Of BMW of Tenafly:

I was looking to lease a new car after being with BMW for the past 6 years. After checking with the dealership i had been with and having an unappealing experience, i decided to check elsewhere. I ran into Marlen at BMW Tenafly and had a great experience. He was enthusiastic, but also patient when i was trying to decide if i wanted to lease and what car i may have wanted. He was knowledgeable about the cars and very interested in the product itself. He was very flexible when making appointments to meet up in person. He was also open to go over things on the phone if i did not want to head to the dealership. His friendly and honest approach, lack of pressure when trying to make a decision and overall attitude makes him a great person to deal with when purchasing/leasing a car from BMW.

My Review Of BMW of Tenafly:

My Wife and I went in to look at a used 2012 BMW X5. We weren't expecting much as usually dealers aren't helpful. We were quite surprised how nice and helpful they were, Especially Marlen. We went for the usual inspection of the car and test drive. Loved the car and now we started to talk price. The advertised price on the internet was low but of course everyone wants a discount. They worked with us a little bit to get the price lower. Firm but fair. Marlen was very honest in his opinion and trying to work with us. In the end, we walked away with a almost brand new car from Marlen and BMW Tenafly. Marlen has called me to ask how everything was and if we needed any more assistance with the car. I definitely would come back for a great deal and great experience.

In addition to working with Marlen, we worked with Kim for our finance portion of the transaction. She was super busy but was able to help with everything and has been actively communicating with us to finalize all the minor details. Thank you again.

My Review Of BMW of Tenafly:

I have been car shopping for 2 months and went to about 6 dealerhips. I found a car i loved in Tenafly BMW and when i called they were so pleasant that i did not hesitate to drive 45 minutes to purchase my car there. Howard was very personable. He answered all my questions, called me back super fast and was a amazing salesman! Not only did he make me feel comfortable he explained every detail of the car. I felt that other dealerships were just trying to make a deal and not really worried about how they treat their customers. Glenn was also great returned my calls very quick and made sure i got a good deal. Always had a smile which creates a great atmosphere. I left the dealer with a full tank and happy heart! Thanks so much for making my experience so great!
