Bart's Car Store - Fort Wayne

I bought a 2014 Dodge Avenger with 150,000 for $6,600. 2 days later my tire (and wheel) flew off while driving because lugnuts weren't fastened after allegedly putting on new brakes. In the 6 months since t days later my tire (and wheel) flew off while driving because lugnuts weren't fastened after allegedly putting on new brakes. In the 6 months since then I've had to replace: the brakes, rotors, and calipers. I've also had to get the lights fixed, cruise control fixed, and various other issues. To top that off now the car wont start in the cold and I'm going to have to get a new battery and alternator. I hate writing this review because I genuinely like the guy I bought it off. This car is a total xxx and I probably paid $5,000 too much for what I got. I wish there would've been more transparency on the car I received. My safety was highly jeopardized. More

Find another dealership! We purchased a vehicle from them on September 26. Our experience was pleasant, the salesman joked that we wouldn't have an October car payment (this i We purchased a vehicle from them on September 26. Our experience was pleasant, the salesman joked that we wouldn't have an October car payment (this is a lie). However, we were told the car was clean and passed ALL inspections. After leaving the lot we felt a wobble when braking, but thought nothing of it and scheduled a maintenance check. On October 2, we were told the rotors and brakes were severely warped and the car was unsafe to drive. The cost to fix was astronomical. My husband immediately called Bart's and explained to them what was going on. He was told that the rotors and brakes were warped because of his driving. They blamed him and his less than a week ownership of this vehicle! He asked to speak with the manager but was told that he's out every Wednesday and told him to call back the next day. He and I both called multiple times to speak with management or salesman. We were told every time they're unavailable and never heard back. Finally after 2 days later someone returned our calls. On October 8 we were told they would refund not even 25% of our maintenance expenses. Almost 3 weeks later we still have not received the reimbursement. When we called to check we were told the manager went on vacation and must have forgotten to tell someone. We were told someone would call us back but that's never happened. If I knew then what I know now, I never would have walked on their lot. Horrible business practices. More
