Going to a car dealership usually feels to me like swimming in a shark pond; but not true at Bickford Motors. It felt more like a pleasant afternoon excursion. The entire culture is different at that dealership. No one was stressed, people weren't competing with each other, nor pressuring me to buy things I couldn't afford and didn't need. The people who work there are happy, gracious and professional, and there is a strong sense of community. And I was blown away by the service I received, not only by the salesmen who helped me but also by the finance department, who checked multiple lenders to get me the best financing; and by the tech wizard who spent a good 40 minutes with me, teaching me how all the bells and whistles in my car worked, and then gave me his email address and phone number in case I had any further questions. All that for a used car purchase. I have never had such an experience in a dealership; and I doubt I will ever buy a car anywhere but Bickford.
