Best customer service, very family oriented. Honest people overall. Sales and finance went smoothly. Vehicle was clean and ready to go. Would not shop at other Toyota dealership. This is the best dealership in San Diego county.

My Review of Bob Baker Toyota:
On Sunday, April 1, 2012, I purchased my first Toyota--the new Prius C. I purchased this vehicle from Bob Baker Toyota at the suggestion of a close friend who is very knowledgeable about the auto industry. So far my new Prius C appears to be an exceptional auto that exceeds my demanding expectations. However, the purpose of this review is not to report the merits of my new car, but to report the buying experience at Bob Baker Toyota. The overall experience was excellent. The Sales Manager and the Salesman were extremely professional, polite, and very detailed in taking me through the buying process. The Finance Manager was also very professional and helpful while explaining numerous financing, service, and accessory options with absolutely no sales pressure (I elected not to purchase any extra items at this time.). I have visited numerous dealerships over the last few months inquiring about various new car models. I can honestly say that the sales staff at Bob Baker Toyota knows its product better than any other dealership, regardless of the car manufacturer, that I visited. Particularly impressive was the Salesman's exhaustive demonstration of all the features of this technologically advanced automobile, including a demonstration test drive. As a result of my experience, I would highly recommend Bob Baker Toyota to anyone considering a new Toyota.

My Review of Bob Baker Toyota:
My neice who just turned 22 was ready to purchase her first financed car but had a budget of 15k.Her dream car was a white Toyota Camry so we got online and started looking.We saw an ad on Auto Trader.com for a 2010 Toyota Camry @ Bob Baker Toyota that we were really interested in. We called to see if it was still available and it was. We were there within 20 minutes and were behind the wheel test driving. We loved the car and the price of $14,947. I explained to the salesman her budget and that we were so happy to have found her this car. We filled out the paperwork (she needed us to co sign) and the manager came and sat down with us and told us that the price online was a mistake and the lowest they could sell us the car for was $16,500. I explained my neices financial situation to them and offered to pay the difference and meet them halfway @ $15,800. they would not budge. In my opinion they should of honered their mistake but instead Patrick Williams rudly told us he would loss money and he was not bound to honor the price. The salesman tried to work something out but Patrick cut him off mid sentence and said "let them leave" while doing the schooing motion with his hands. BAD BUSINESS!!! The funny thing is that we were the only people there on a Sat. afternoon....seems like we are not the only ones who think they SUCK!! When we got in the car my neice was in tears :( Good news is that we went to San Diego Toyota and my neice happily drove off in her beautiful white Camry in less then 2 hrs. Alex (sales man) & James Brown (finance) you guys ROCK!! Bob Baker Toyota needs to follow your lead!

My Review of Bob Baker Toyota:
Part 2 of 2 So i walk out of the finance department and leave my chic behind to deal with the most disrespectful business person I've ever met in my life. She comes out with keys to the truck and we drive off. I myself am feeling disrespected, humiliated, insulted, be-littled and just plain pissed cause we just dropped all the cash my girl got from AAA for our previous car she had totalled 2 weeks earlier. And still no appointment for the Lojack installation. That was Saturday night so Monday morning Tracy calls my girl telling her in the nicest of tones that she thought we miscounted the money in the envelope which was supposed be $10,000 but turned out to be only $8,000. WHOOPS!!!!! Someone forgot to count 10 grand in cold hard $100 dollar bills in their fit of rage. Now I totally admit that was MY mistake. My girl is confused because has a cash receipt in front of her telling her its 10 grand we put down. It's my mess so i clean it up and take the dealership the $2,000 we owe within the hour.(We could've kept the $ by the way) I figure I might as well tell her manager about the insults and disrespect while I'm there. Clarence hears me out and calls the general manager Mario so he can hear our terrible experience. I get apologies up and down from those guys and get assured that the matter will be taken care of and that they"ll throw in a full car detail. Car should've been driven off deatailed if u ask me. Well turns out Tracy and Mario the GM are married so we can forget about an apology from Tracy. For the whole story contact me at apalomares619@gmail.com It gets worse. My Review of Bob Baker Toyota:
We bought a Toyota 4Runner from this dealership about four months ago, and the people we dealt with were very nice and accomidating. We decided to buy a New Camery for my wife and went to your dealership on 07/16/2011. We were met by a salesman named Jesus who was nice and we talked to him about buying one of the Camry's on sale (a silver one) but really prefered white. He brought his supervisor out (did not get his name) who was arogant and just a real wise guy! (excuse the expression). All of the dealers we had been to previously were very nice and low pressure. This guy was really pushy and had things to say like - You're just being negative about everything -, when I would answer any questions about the specific car I was looking for.
I do not want to ever return to this dealership again because of this one salaesman. No one would want to have to talk with this guy and his poor attitude again.

Customer service A+++++++ I will refer this dealership to all my friends and clients. Art Taylor really went above and beyond for me. It was my most pleasant car buying experience. I bought a used 2008 prius in mint condition and got a really great price. I am a very happy customer!!!!

Bob Baker of Lemon Grove has an excellent product and excellent customer service. We purchased a new Prius, which we love, and we felt like family. Bob Baker continues to provide excellent customer service with all of our maintenance. We WILL buy again from Bob Baker and we will continue to have our car serviced at this dealer. Excellent, excellent, excellent dealer. I didn't know that a dealer like this still existed, where you are treated like family, in ever since of the word. Thank you Bob Baker!! You're a role model for all other dealers.

First, I had the "pleasure" of signing a paper that said I had taken all valuables out of my car because the dealership doesn't even trust the people that they hire around my things. So, I removed everything that I could think of from my car. Later that evening I noticed that the car charger for my cell phone was no longer in my car. It amazes me that I can buy a car somewhere, and have all of the maintenance done there and they are fine with losing my business because of a $20 charger. There is no way I will be back there for ANY reason, and I recommend that anyone reading this go to one of many other San Diego area Toyota Dealerships. There is no reason to trust a company with your car when you can't even trust them with your car charger.

My Review of Bob Baker Toyota:
We had a great car buying experience with Bob Baker Toyota of Lemon Grove. They treated and served us in the upmost manner. The staff was excellent, especially our salesman Mr. Art Taylor. He was genuinely friendly from the start. Helped us in the car selection and allowed us to decide on the car we wanted without any "pushiness" or overselling. He built our trust within the first few minutes. He was recommended by a previous buyer and we could tell that he was the salesman in demand, since during our visit he was requested many times to help others. He paid attention on us the whole time and allowed us time to discuss our decision amongst ourself. After he knew that the sale was closed, he still spent time with us in going over the features of our new Corolla. We will definite refer Art to others. We felt at home and welcome by the other staff such as the dealer manager, Mario, the sales manager, I believe, his name was Pat and others. Of other special recognition was the Finance Manager, Mr. Ray Romero, we again were helped by Ray without being forced into any decision. He was clear and concise in presenting us the additional services options that we could procure. He did a great job in doing our paperwork and also allowed us time to talk over proposed options amongst ourselves. I have had good buying experiences at Bob Baker dealerships in the past. I find Bob Baker's stores to be honest, fair and helpful in the car buying process, this was the case with Bob Baker Toyota of Lemon Grove. I would definitely return and specifically ask for Art Taylor to help me and my wife again in the purchase of another new vehicle.

My Review of Bob Baker Toyota:
The staff at Bob Baker was fantastic. They treated us like family and gave us a great deal on a used car. They attempted to extend our payments for 2 extra years, so we would have lower payments. When they couldn't get us the extra 2 years, they gave us more for our trade-in so our payments would be what they told us they would be. They installed an alarm in the car we got and when the alarm was a bit too sensitive, they arranged to have the alarm specialist stop by our house to fix the sensitivity. Greatest experience we have had with a car dealership. Dave Avants in used cars was great! Tracy & Mario Luppinacci helped us so much with the financing! We will only use Bob Baker Toyota in Lemon Grove from now on!
