I had a problem with my 2015 ford truck taking fuel into tank, it would shut off after about 3 seconds of fueling. I went on line to see if i could solve the problem myself, i discovered that the EVAP purge tank, it would shut off after about 3 seconds of fueling. I went on line to see if i could solve the problem myself, i discovered that the EVAP purge canister on top of the engine would cause the fueling problem and it was easily replace which i did, i replaced it but did not solve problem, further research said to replace the EVAP charcoal canister on frame rail, i installed brand new charcoal canister with no fueling problem results. I then checked with a voltmeter the plug going into the solonoid on the charcoal canister and discovered no voltage at all. This is when i decided to take the truck to brandon ford where i bought it brand new in 2015 on the 13th of this month, 7 days later on the 19th , when i dropped off the truck on the 13th in the service isle i gave a female a discription of what the problem was and a typed note of the brand new parts i had installed and that there was no voltage going to Evap charcoal canister on frame rail when ignition was turned on, i told this gal to make sure this typed note gets to the technition, very important the tech knows there is no power going to solonoid when it should be! I get a call from Mike abati that i need the brand new parts replaced that i installed. I was in key west when mike called, when i got home i connected a 12 volt source to my old Evap charcoal canister solonoid and it worked just fine. this tells me the parts the tech replaced that where brand new were working parts. when mike abati called on the 19th that the truck is fixed and running fine, i asked him what was the problem, he said the solonoid plug was bad and it was replaced. i paid just under 600$ and received truck, i got under truck and had my wife turn on the ignition and EVAP charcoal canister solonoid didnt actuate, i went to closest filling station and fuel wouldnt go into tank, one other thing, when checked solonoid to see if it was working i noticed that the the solonoid plug ( the plug with on power going to it was originol 2015 plug} mike said he had it changed, that was mikes first bare faced lie, i asked mike if he tried putting fuel in the tank to see if its was working properly and he said he did, that was mikes second bare faced lie, I no this to be a fact because my fuel range on dash board hadnt changed a mile since i dropped off the truck, after dropping off the truck back at brandon and telling mike that nothing been fixed that i just paib 600$ for he said leave it and he would call me at 5pm to see what the tech had to say, mike called at 5pm and said the tech thought it might be the fuel nozzle pipe going into the tank, this may or may not be the the problem, but throwing parts at a problem sounds like brandon ford techs do not have a clue, and mike abati is a bare faced liar!!!!! I picked up the truck yesterday because the truck needs to go to to a competent mechanic!! hey brandon ford , mike abati and tech, thanks for screwing me out of 600$!!!!! Theres and old saying, scratch a liar find a theif!!! I have been buying new F150s since the year 2000 but i will never buy a new one from brandon ford!!!!!! More

I was very happy with the quality of service I received for the last 8-10 years. Brought in my 2011 ranger for a trans oil change and after an hour in the waiting room, I was informed they didn't have the correct fluid, so come back next week and we will perform the service. Came back, spent another hour in the waiting room, and was informed they didn't have the filter. This started to sound kinda lame so I left and took the truck to Sarasota Ford a few days later. Didn't have an appointment, but they took me in rather quickly. Done in an hour and a half or so. I am so disappointed in Brandon Ford. They were my go to dealership for service. I have a fist full of service receipts representing thousands of dollars spent and I felt cheated. Guess that's the way it is today. I need a new Edge, and I will probably go to Sarasota when I'm ready to pull the trigger. More
Tried to purchase a vehicle, ran into a couple people at the desk (Bernard and Otis). These two characters were either tricksters or inept imo. Too bad, beautiful dealership, bad management. I am updating my review of Brandon Ford. (I kept my original review below). Within a couple hours after I posted my original review, sales manager Zoran Krekic called me. He wanted to main (I kept my original review below). Within a couple hours after I posted my original review, sales manager Zoran Krekic called me. He wanted to maintain a positive customer relationship with me, and he said he would be overnighting me a check for the dealer fees I was disputing. I was impressed by his quick response, his positive attitude, and his flexibility. That's a sign of a good manager and a dealership that cares about its customers. Unlike manager Brooksye Hall, who told me everyone has to pay those fees (including his own family members), and who was more than willing to let me walk away from the Maverick I ordered from Ford. If not for Brooksye, I would rate Brandon Ford 5 stars. __________________________________________________________ (Original Review) Car dealerships have a reputation for "hiding" markups on vehicles. KBB defines dealer markup as "profit and a selling price the dealership assigns that is above and beyond the carmaker's MSRP". That's a simple concept. Markups can be obvious like "Dealer Markup" or "Adjusted Market Value". Markups can be less clear such as "Predelivery Service Fees". I ordered a 2023 Maverick from Ford. As we all know, this has to be done through a dealership. I was contacted by Jim Gordon of Brandon Ford. I asked him if there will be any markup over MSRP on my order. He stated in an email that there are no dealer markups on orders from Ford. After 10 months of waiting, my Maverick finally arrived at Brandon Ford. While reviewing the numbers with salesperson Ricardo Liburd, I see "Predelivery Service Fees" of more than $1,300 on the contract. I showed him the email from Jim Gordon stating there are no markups. After discussing with him and sales manager Brooksye Hall, I decided I would purchase the Maverick at the marked up price and handle it after the sale. I am in the process of filing a small claims case against Brandon Ford. ** In my lawsuit, I am not arguing about the ridiculous fees. I am arguing that a representative of Brandon Ford stated that I will pay MSRP without any markups. However, other consumes should be aware that just because it is pre-printed on a contract does NOT mean a fee cannot be removed. Autolist.com says "Predelivery Service Fees" are for preparing a vehicle for leaving the lot - checking the tires and fluids, fueling the car, removing the shipping stickers and protective coverings, and giving the vehicle a quick wash. Does it really cost $1,295 to do that work? Why does Brandon Ford charge a fee for Title/Registration plus ANOTHER fee for "Electronic Registration Filing" plus ANOTHER fee for "Title and Documentary Handling"? More
