The worst experience I ever had. Classical Bait and switch. I found a truck I liked, called and got details. Made a deal and drove 3 hours to pick up. Only to be told, sorry we sold Classical Bait and switch. I found a truck I liked, called and got details. Made a deal and drove 3 hours to pick up. Only to be told, sorry we sold it. Can I interest you in a lesser truck for the same money? Will never work with Capital Ford of Charlotte again. More
Bad experience purchasing a 2021 motorhome from them. Represented as in good condition. Traveled from PA, and purchased only to discover undisclosed damage after I got it home. Slide mechanism broken and Represented as in good condition. Traveled from PA, and purchased only to discover undisclosed damage after I got it home. Slide mechanism broken and required a complete removal and rebuild. Folding sofa frame completely destroyed, requiring rebuild. Check engine light on due to the fact that the catalytic converter had been replaced with an incorrect aftermarket part. They said they'd arrange to have it fixed at my local Ford dealer. Two weeks so far and no word. We'll see. Arriving around 5:30PM, they refused to honor my certified check, and wanted to make me stay the night so they could verify in the morning, since the bank was closed. Fortunately was able to call my bank manager at home after hours and get the check verified. Bless her heart for accommodating them. They invoiced $4,247 for PA sales tax, the entire amount of which I paid with the certified check. Then they said they couldn't collect PA sales tax and said they would refund the tax paid by sending me a check, and I could pay it locally. Two weeks later I get the title and other documents in the mail, with an invoice showing no tax was paid, and no mention of the total I paid, or a refund due. I called them, and they say they're going to send out a check. We'll see. When we finally got the paperwork done and got ready to depart, discovered the service department set the tire pressure at 50psi instead of 80 psi, and the tire pressure alarms were going off. Unfortunately, the service dept had gone home, and we couldn't get the air we needed. A passing tow truck driver got us enough to get me to a truck stop where I could get them filled properly. On a positive note, Jayden, my salesperson was helpful in picking us up at the airport, and stayed till past 9pm trying to help us with the tire fill fiasco. His ability to help was limited by a service department that is "at odds" with the sales department, and who was unwilling to help him find the switch for turning on the shop's air compressor, which had been shut down for the night. Was disappointed that either he didn't know about the damaged slide and sofa, or didn't tell us about it. We'll see if they make it right. I texted Jayden with pictures, but received no reply as of yet. The service department gets a thumbs down for not standing behind their salespeople as well as for not inflating the tires correctly to 80 psi as is clearly stated on the sidewall of the tire. No way I should have had to worry about tire pressure when purchasing a nearly new 70K vehicle from a FORD dealer!!! That's less competence than most private parties have! The finance department gets a thumbs down for not exercising trust with my cashiers check, and delaying the transaction. Experiencing a case of fraud from one individual doesn't mean most individuals are fraudulent. And a second thumbs down for not promptly refunding my 4K of sales taxes after mistakenly invoicing me for them. Hopefully they make it right. More
The customer service was amazing. Stephan and the rest of the team made buying my car so easy. I recommend them to anyone in the market. I will start off by saying that this review does not reflect the salesman who I was speaking with, he was very nice. This review reflects some sketchy business practices. I did some inquiring online reflect the salesman who I was speaking with, he was very nice. This review reflects some sketchy business practices. I did some inquiring online through KBB for selling/trading my current vehicle in. They reached out so I finally decided to go in after many texts and calls. First off, the lady who reached out to me that I made the appointment with never showed her face. This bothered me from the beginning even though she probably just sits behind a desk and constantly baits people in. Here is what they don’t tell you, what they don’t publish online and what you will not find out until you go in. In my case this pertained to looking at used F150 trucks. The reason the prices for these used trucks are profoundly lower than other dealerships and trucks for sale online that will have the same features, mileage, etc…is due to the fact that these lower priced trucks are lemons with branded titles. Most are dealer buybacks from California and other states. I was shown extensive paperwork and vehicle history (multiple pages of constant shop work for the same issues that seemed to never fully be fixed, one truck even had an entire engine replacement) on 2 trucks specifically and told that they specialize in this, these trucks had been back and forth to have serious issues fixed and sold multiple times at auction. This is extremely misleading since on their website it will show that there is a clean carfax, actually BOTH of the trucks I was interested in said that on the website listing. This is to bait you in. This is not good business practice and is extremely misleading. If I recall correctly, everything on the website with the stock number starting with QAJ is a lemon/branded title buyback vehicle. Buyers beware. More

The salesman Mike is nice, but If you plan on buying a car from this dealership don't buy anything from them unless it is a Ford. We bought a Hyundai they pushed and pushed to get us to buy the extended w car from this dealership don't buy anything from them unless it is a Ford. We bought a Hyundai they pushed and pushed to get us to buy the extended warranty, and after bugging the heck out of us we finally gave in. They did not bother to tell us that the original manufacturer warranty was not transferable and the drive train was only good up to 60,000 miles and not 10,0000 miles. Also there was no spare tire in the car so we have to wait for them to order one which is ridiculous now I'm afraid to go anywhere because I'm afraid if I have a flat tire I do not have a spare. We tried to cancel the warranty when we went back to find out about the spare tire and they said they could not refund us, it would be applied to our loan which is total BS they are nothing but a bunch of crooks and be careful if you even consider buying a car from them.
