Sysee Jokela was very friendly and helpful in searching for a much needed vehicle My wife and I were one of the 37 vehicles involved in that terrible 37 car pile up on the Knik River Bridge this month and for a much needed vehicle My wife and I were one of the 37 vehicles involved in that terrible 37 car pile up on the Knik River Bridge this month and my Chevy Silverado was totaled. We were in dire need of a new vehicle. Sysee was very nice, and didn't push us to buy. She was very straightforward about what she could offer and what was available. I found her to be very honest. She sold a 2024 Chevy Silverado 4X4 to us and it was a seamless transaction. Sysee followed through on everything she stated, and was 100% upfront, and honest. I definitely felt like she put what was in our best interest first. I can't stress enough how satisfied I am with my experience & will definitely be back when the time comes. If you're looking to sell or purchase a vehicle I HIGHLY recommend services through South Anchorage Chevrolet and seek out Sysee Jokela. More
These people will do anything to sell you a car. Fantastic customer service to get you to finance a new vehicle. But the service department is the worst I have ever dealt with. They incorrectly repa Fantastic customer service to get you to finance a new vehicle. But the service department is the worst I have ever dealt with. They incorrectly repaired my car….5 times. They replaced an ECT sensor and broke something within the oil pump. Instead of saying we broke something during the repair, and taking responsibility for their error. They covered it up and tried to seal the oil leak with RTV. This is GM Certified shop letting repairs go out the door like that. My car is still under warranty and the next shop I brought it to wanted to charge me $1,400 for the repair due to so much damage being done. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. This has been a 7 month process of trying to get my car fixed, having been initially brought there for a thermostat issue. They use being busy as an excuse, well why are you in business if you don't want to be busy? Let’s give them what they are asking for and not patronize their business anymore. You'll be better off if you don't. More

The sales guy, Steven, who was happy to take my $20k for the car hours earlier said "Well, we sold it as is, so...." Nice. Kenny, the service manager agreed that a car that I've owned for just a few hours should not leak, and agreed to fix it. It took almost 12 weeks to get it "fixed," and within minutes of driving it off the lot the check engine light came on and I lost all power to accelerate the vehicle. It took me almost 5 minutes to get from 0 to 55 on the highway. Kenny agreed to look at it again and after a few more weeks, said it was a sensor they replaced. Drove off again, and it threw the same code and the check engine light came on. Tried calling them, but after about 25 tries of getting any calls or texts back, I realized they couldn't care less. So I went to another dealership, who in turn informed me that the so-called "fix" to the oil pan is what caused my check engine issues, and a whole list of things that went "unnoticed" in their pre-owned inspection. I'm reviewing legal options for the time being and will see what comes out of the final reports. More
Your wife is almost 70 and only drives to Anchorage once a year. We live over 200 miles away. Winters through the mountains is very harsh, Summers are heavy tourist traffic, Due to all this. I once a year. We live over 200 miles away. Winters through the mountains is very harsh, Summers are heavy tourist traffic, Due to all this. I drive to Anchorage during the summer. I call the dealership a month in advance to schedule this appt. They tell me they can’t hold the air bag replacement just for me. Even after giving me the appointment day and time. I’ve been doing this every year since the recall came out and every year I get here and they don’t have it available. The service advisor name is Edgar Corina his phone number is 907-365-8647 I’ve called 3 days in a row now and he won’t call me back. More
I was able to get a pickup that I had been watching for about a week in less than two days, and got it to the barge company in time to make it on the first barge out. By far the easiest vehicle buying expe about a week in less than two days, and got it to the barge company in time to make it on the first barge out. By far the easiest vehicle buying experience I have ever had. More

The manager won't even call me back or talk to me at the dealership. They burned me, don't make the mistake I did. Shop elsewhere. Also still don't have my home charger install completed that came with the car, 6 months later. Said they'd detail my car. Did not. More

I had left my car on their lot because I was going to be out of town for a couple of weeks. Before I got back to Anchorage I was informed my back window had been broken. I asked them if they were going to out of town for a couple of weeks. Before I got back to Anchorage I was informed my back window had been broken. I asked them if they were going to pay to get it fixed and they said they would only pay my deductible. I believe someone who works there broke the window as there weren't any other vehicles who had a broken window and nothing was taken from my vehicle. I called Kong after I had my window repaired and told him the deductible is $50. He said he had to talk with his manager (whom he had discussed this with previously) and said he would call me back. After 4 days I am still waiting. Just tried calling and no one is answering. Horrible service! More
