This is the fourth Honda Accord that I have purchased from Clinton Honda. The sales team that I dealt with was willing to match the lowest quote that I had obtained. They made the buying experience as from Clinton Honda. The sales team that I dealt with was willing to match the lowest quote that I had obtained. They made the buying experience as painless as possible and were a pleasure to deal with. From initial test drive through final purchase, the Clinton Honda sales team was professional and courteous. I have also maintained all of my prior cars at Clinton Honda. They have down a great job keeping my cars on the road. My cars went for 210K miles, 185K miles and 226K miles. More
I have purchased many new cars since 1971 and this was by far the best experience. From my sales pro Bill Butler to the General Manager John Killian the buying experience was enjoyable. The Business Manager far the best experience. From my sales pro Bill Butler to the General Manager John Killian the buying experience was enjoyable. I owned my old car for fourteen years, so it had been awhile since I'd been through the "buying a new car" experience, and I was a little nervous. But Steve (and all the staff at Clinton Honda) made me feel very comfortable. I'll recommend them to anyone looking for a new car. More
A while back there was a software recall on my car, which caused the check engine light to go on. We brought it in, they supposedly did the update, and yet the light never went off. Upon that visit, they a caused the check engine light to go on. We brought it in, they supposedly did the update, and yet the light never went off. Upon that visit, they advised I was nearing 100,000 miles and would need a new timing belt. I took the car to my mechanic upon the next servicing and told him about the dealership's recommendation to which he replied "You don't have a timing belt in that car; You have a chain. It doesn't need to be replaced." So right there, the dealership lost my trust. Now, here I am about 2-3 years later and I have to get the software update run again so that the check engine light will go off and the car can pass inspection. I tried to call on Friday 3/25. I heard a male voice talking (no Hello/Clinton Honda/May I help you) and I said "Who is this?" and got the response that it was the "phone guy". He then hung up. I called back again, confused, and once again, someone picked up. I said "Hi I'm trying to reach Clinton Honda." He said "Yeah, we're having trouble with the phones, can you call back?" I said "would tomorrow be good?" and he hung up on me. I DO NOT recommend this dealership to anyone. Terrible service department who don't even know which parts are in their own cars. Plus they have awful customer service. More
This is the first time our family is buying a Honda. We have previously purchased 8 different Chrysler/Dodge vehicles. We found the sales process easy and the quality of the vehicles to be good. We had r have previously purchased 8 different Chrysler/Dodge vehicles. We found the sales process easy and the quality of the vehicles to be good. We had researched the vechicles prior to car shopping. We did look at other brands as well and liked the vehicle and eperience we received at Clinton Honda the best. We heavily weight the quality of the Service Department in making this decision and we had received good recommendations from people we know in the area. More
I had previously purchased a new 2007 Honda Fit from Clinton Honda for my daughter. At the time the Fit was just released, getting rave reviews and Clinton did not want to deal at all on the price. I Clinton Honda for my daughter. At the time the Fit was just released, getting rave reviews and Clinton did not want to deal at all on the price. I wound up getting $500 off List but left disappointed. Recently I decided to purchase a Pilot, did all my research on the Internet and used an online service through Upromise to request a quote. 5 Dealers contacted me, all with dealer invoice pricing, including Clinton Honda. I was surprised, every other dealer was in Pennsylvania or Bergen county, Clinton was the only local dealer to respond. I then sent each dealer a request for complete pricing, all fees, docs, taxes, etc. Tom Winnicky at Clinton Honda was the only one who responded with exact details, including itemized sales tax and documentation fees. After knowing all my costs for the new purchase, I requested a trade-in. Tom again was the only one who gave me a quote, sight unseen, for my trade-in vehicle. It was close enough to what I wanted that I decided to go meet with them. Tom then connected me with Steve Stosko. Steve provided me a written quote with the exact numbers Tom had worked out with me and ran through the Honda promotional financing rates. He then showed me the vehicles. I had brought my trade-in for official appraisal. Steve came back in 10 minutes with the same offer I had received from Tom via email. I told them the price I wanted and they decided to call wholesalers directly to see if they could get me a better price. They did, by $1,000 and we were done. We picked up the Pilot less than 24 hours later. I don't think I spent more than one hour total in the dealership. Tom Winnicky got me in the door by being straight forward on the pricing and anticipated trade value, (he was the only who would specify an estimated trade value without seeing the vehicle). Once I did walk in the door, Steve Stosko made the purchase process go smoothly and quickly, there were no surprises, no moving numbers, and no haggling. It was the fastest I've ever purchased a new vehicle in my life and this is the 20th car I've owned! Clinton Honda will get first crack at my next vehicle purchase. More
I have purchased 4 cars from this dealership and have had excellent service without any hassels. They are extremely knowledgeable in their product and very fair in trade in values. You can't buy a better car excellent service without any hassels. They are extremely knowledgeable in their product and very fair in trade in values. You can't buy a better car for the price. It was the most efficient process in picking up and completing the paperwork so far. More
We just leased a new 2011 Honda Accord from Mike Wasik. He took the time to show us all the features of the vehicle and took both of us for a test drive. We ended up going with the fully loaded Accord beca He took the time to show us all the features of the vehicle and took both of us for a test drive. We ended up going with the fully loaded Accord because of the nice interior, bluetooth etc. Mike was able to work with his manager to trade in our car and it was just a very easy process. We recommend this dealer and you ask for Mike to help you. More
I've rated Clinton Honda as 'great' in all but the price category which I thought was very good but anyone would want to pay less for such a large overall purchase. I had a very pleasant experience with Sc category which I thought was very good but anyone would want to pay less for such a large overall purchase. I had a very pleasant experience with Scott Dysart, my salesman, and would most definitely recommend him (and already have) to friends that are or will be in the market for a new Honda. This purchase was my sixth Honda purchase over 20-years but my first purchase at Clinton Honda - I'm happy to say that I will be back for my next purchase. I especially liked the fact that much less time was spent at the dealership than with my past purchases at other dealerships. I believe this is due to the fact that Scott is a very organized sales person; he hits on all the major points in the initial talks and never hesitates to answer a question. I am also extremely happy with the vehicle itself - I drive 25,000 miles/year so dependability and having confidence that my car will perform well is an absolute must for me. I get all of that from the Honda Accord. I appreciate the opportunity to do business with Clinton Honda and, as is usual, you will be seeing me whenever I have service performed on my car. More
I leased a CRV from Clinton Honda on a 36 month lease and had low mileage on the car. The month prior to the end of the lease, I traded it in for another 36 month lease on a new CRV. The team at Clin had low mileage on the car. The month prior to the end of the lease, I traded it in for another 36 month lease on a new CRV. The team at Clinton Honda was able to buy the old vehicle and to re-sell it. The equity raised had the net affect being that I was able to do a new 36 month lease on a new vehicle with no money down and with the payments approximately $50 less per month than the prior lease. The folks are obviously creative and the service was great. I would recommend Clinton Honda highly. More
