Just picked up my vintage car at Douglas Chrysler in Venice and spent 5000.00 to fix it and it was filthy. I did not take it there that way. Gregg gave me a car wash ticket but I do not take the car th Venice and spent 5000.00 to fix it and it was filthy. I did not take it there that way. Gregg gave me a car wash ticket but I do not take the car thru a car wash..He said you know this is Florida and things get dirty. He then said well you can leave it over the weekend and we will detail it. It should have been done before I picked it up..There were grease fingerprints on the inside of the door and a black film all over the outside of the car. He then walked away from me.. No customer service there. Will not go back there. More

To say this dealership is poor would be a disservice to poor dealerships. Their tiny service department is trying to service the thousands of snowbirds and permanent residents. Trying to get an appointment is next to impossible, try at least three months out. Most times when you call you will be hung up on the first time before the operator comes on to try to direct your call. When you finally speak to one of the service people you are met with a surly if not down right angry sounding person. Lastly we get to fixing the car, if you are supposed to get it back today you really must plan on at least two days more, at least. If it wasn't for the fact that every computer readout of a problem is impossible for a different mechanic to read I would take my vehicle to Firestone but they would have to pay a 1500 fee to be able to read my vehicle's computer, I am held hostage by Dodge. I am so dissatisfied with them. More

I have to say John Grupe is a wonderful service Director He definitely changed my mind to the full positive for the service department. John was a pleasure to work with by helping diagnose a squeak noise that was concerning me with my challenger scat pack. Also need to mention Melody in sales, she showed me some used cars that I was interested in looking at and she had another appointment set up, but she introduced me to Scott in used car sales and he took over with showing me the car I was interested in looking at and test driving. I have to give them a Full 5 star review for how well they handled my service issue and inquiry for another used vehicle purchase. They are Keeping an eye out for what I am looking for in that used vehicle arena. I will be using them for my service needs for sure and will recomened them to anyone. thank you all for your help today. More
I am extremely disappointed with this dealerships service department. I stopped in to have my air conditioning looked at on a 2014 grand Cherokee. I spoke with a Dallas Howard for service advisor. He asked abruptly asked if I could leave my car for a couple days they were extremely busy. I said no I’m from out of town and I wasn’t expecting to leave my car. He replied you need to make an appointment.. I returned home and call the dealership to make an appointment. This was on or about February 14. The lady said I could bring it in on March 20 at 9 AM. So I made the appointment. I arrived at 8:30 on March 20 upon arrival. I signed an agreement that it was going to cost $185 for them to give me an estimate, I was informed by Dallas that it was going to take a couple hours before they could look at it and asked me if I was going to stay or leave the dealership. I said I was going to stay in the waiting room. I did not have any other transportation. He said he would call for a Uber ride or I could rent a car for $40 a day. At that point, I continued waiting in the waiting room. After short time, he came in the lobby and said he could not arrange the Uber driver for me.. I called a friend and he agreed to come pick me up. I asked Dallas how long it was going to take ? he informed me that they probably weren’t going to get to it that day they were extremely busy. Keep in mind I waited six weeks for this appointment.. My friend picked me up and we left the dealership. It wasn’t 30 minutes. I received a call from Dallas, explaining to me what was wrong with the vehicle and how much it was going to cost. he explained to me that the condenser was bad in the air conditioning unit and it was gonna cost $1695 to have that replaced plus $195 to have it re-charged at $185 for the estimate. Here’s the good part I told him to go ahead and have it fixed. Then he explained it was gonna take 2 to 3 days to get the part and several hours to have installed. At this point, I’m leaving at the end of the week and can’t stick around to have the work done. When I went to pick the car up, they charged me $218.51 for the estimate. They charge me one hour labor at $189.95 an hour labor. There’s no way that they looked at that car for an hour. It is my opinion that they don’t wanna work on snowbirds vehicles. They only want to service the vehicles they sell.. Check out their website they sell their new vehicles with a Florida resident discount can be up to $7000 difference that should tell you right there than that they don’t want out of state customers. I would be embarrassed I would not have the nerve to charge somebody $219.51 for virtually doing nothing. I will never go back to this dealership and when I get home, I’m going to inform the Chrysler corporation of exactly what kind of dealership service department they have. More

We have been trying to cancel our Mopar Vehicle Protection since April 1, 2021 because we traded our car in. We have had the run around. They said they have submitted it and they still haven't done Protection since April 1, 2021 because we traded our car in. We have had the run around. We also contacted Jeep directly and no luck there either. Be careful of buying their Mopar Vehicle Protection because it doesn't seem like you will ever get a refund for unused protection More
