Check for recalls on your new and used vehicles!!!! I purchased Lexus ES350 07 in April of 2017 and at this time Toyota issued a recall on my vehicles dashboard. I was never made aware of this at the ti purchased Lexus ES350 07 in April of 2017 and at this time Toyota issued a recall on my vehicles dashboard. I was never made aware of this at the time of purchase. Fast forward two years later and my dash is melting and cracking. After doing some research online I read about recall then notified Toyota and was told there is nothing they can do since the recall ended in May of 2017. Smh. More
The Service and Attitude can’t be Matched! For years my family has used Toyota of Richardson and as of our most recent experience that will change. TJ Hamilton in the Service Department and his team went above and beyond. When the other dealer never returned my calls to set an appointment, again after years of using them but also multiple Service Advisers, I turned to TJ and his team. They got us in, fixed and out the door in literally hours! All with a positive can do attitude and constant communication. They went above and beyond by acquiring a part that was literally on a month back-order by using an existing unsold vehicle on the lot. Who does that? TJ and Family Toyota does! Because they take care of their existing customers and don’t just focus on the next like so many do. But now they get both because our next Toyota will come from them and anyone else we know that will listen to our story we hope. Thank you TJ and team. More

Original Post When purchasing my 2017 Toyota Tacoma I was told the dealership offered paint touch up for chips and small scratches for up to two years for all vehicles. I also purchased RoadVantage to cover dents and dings and other cosmetic items. However, now that I wish to use said protection the dealership will not honor it. They say I should not have been told what I was told at the time of purchase. The day I was picking up my truck there was another truck there and the dealership and the owner were walking around it marking chips to be painted. It was explained to me that this was part of my service as well and that most people waited until the 2 years of protection was about to expire and then they would come in and have the chips and scratches taken care of like this customer was. Now they say we do not do this service. I initially had a good experience with Family Toyota, but now that I need them and they do not need me for a purchase they have no interest in honoring their promises. One other note. I initially tried to address this with the Service department but was told that Service and Sales are like two different companies and I need to address any issues with "them" (Sales). More
