I bought the car from Faulkner Subaru, despite the 2 hour drive (from NYC), but it was so worth it. First of all I got the price that was unbeatable by the local dealers in NYC. I purchased it from behind my computer after exchanging few emails with Bob. My car arrived earlier than expected and picking car up was a pleasant experience I was not expecting. Bob spent 2 hours explaining features of the car. I was never felt pushed into getting extra warranty/insurance although I was presented with options to do so. Loving every single piece of buying experience with Faulkner Subaru. 5 star dealer !!! More

Roland Zuk was great to work with. No pressure, very informative. Went over the car top to bottom with us and helped synch our phone to the car for bluetooth. I took my daughter's Outback to Faulkner for a mfr. recall. I was in the market for a car and I had all but decided to buy a Camry. While I was waiting for the work to be done on her car, I noticed the Imprezas. I took a ride in one and was very impressed. A solid car, all wheel drive, and excellent gas mileage. Both Bobby Gearhart and Joe Metzger did an outstanding, low pressure explanation of the car. I couldn't believe I didn't get the "what's it going to take for you to buy the car today" line. My wife didn't even see the car before I bought it. She said If it's a Subaru, I'll trust your judgement. Bottom line, Faulkner and these two fine gentlemen, coupled with the test drive sealed the deal! Faulkner is a class organization! More
My sales consultant was the opposite of the nightmare care salesman (new or used), especially with lone women,(condescending, pushy, trying to get you to buy more than you want, etc.) , and in my many ye care salesman (new or used), especially with lone women,(condescending, pushy, trying to get you to buy more than you want, etc.) , and in my many years of buying cars on my own, I have been sleazed out by a number, and walked right out of showrooms. So, while I have always loved cars, I have always dreaded buying them. I bought this car post-serious-motor-vehicle accident. I was replacing the car in the accident which had been totaled. I was in pain and not at my best. From the first, Roland Zuk, my sales consultant, was congenial, informative, articulate, respectful, and a joy to work with. He was accommodating, he listened to me and what I wanted and did not want. And never once did he treat me like a stupid woman who knew nothing about cars. A first. Even my last car, which was 5 years old, was purchased through a young man who had no customer relations skills. But I wanted the car and blew it off. (Don't they train these kids?) In any case, Roland was very patient with me because I was not at my best. And he happens to be a person of education, respect for others, sensitivity, and caring for people. Unfortunately, I suspect too many dealers may not recognize that those attributes are excellent for car sales consultants. Lack of desperation and maturity helps, too. End of excessive verbiage. I think my point has been made. More
I was hesitant to go to yet another dealership and have them run my credit and lower my score even more than it already was. Everywhere I went I was either denied or if I was approved the interest rates we them run my credit and lower my score even more than it already was. Everywhere I went I was either denied or if I was approved the interest rates were 18-20% the fees the bank charged because of poor credit were truly outrageous which made my monthly payments higher than I could afford AND they all needed lots of down money. Joe Metzer, Nancy McCabe and Pete Boyce helped me so much! I was given an awesome interest rate and I was NOT charged any crazy bank fees! This kept my payments to where I could afford. I am sooo extremely greatful to Faulkner Subaru. My car search is done and they have given me a chance to improve my credit. I will recommend them to anyone that asks! A million Thanks!!!!!
