Took my vehicle in for service 7/11, I had noticed that the battery post (+) had corrosion on it when I was filling the washer fluid. My thoughts were they will take care of it when they service the car. the battery post (+) had corrosion on it when I was filling the washer fluid. Looked at the paperwork from the service, all the boxes checked like they had done something when in fact they didn’t do anything. Had to jump my battery to get it to the service center, lot of lip service. How can I trust Gilman Subaru service, $200 + for a battery change and more lip service. My service advisor was very good, a loaner car was available within a week as compared to my other dealership I used to frequent (wait was 58 days, totally unacceptable). Everyone from the salesperson, the sales manager, and even the general manager have been very courteous, helpful, and not pushy. Most awful place ever and dishonest. Beware, buy elsewhere! Check engine light on within 2 weeks. I found a used vehicle at this business online and contacted them on a Saturday. Al tried to put the hard sell on me, but I live in Dallas, and would not buy a vehicle like that. I paid for my own inspection ($250) from an independent business, and they found issues. When I texted Al, he said he would have it checked by their service department. This was the last text I got from him. I was ghosted by a dealership!!!! I left a message for the manager two days later, and then got a text from Al- (That vehicle is sold). Really??? You can't say it's just this salesperson being unethical- the GM didn't call me back. That means the whole dealership is unethical. Beware!!!!!!! More
