Don't Buy any extended warranties On October 17, 2017 at 8:30 am my 2014 Kia Forte had a flat on the rear right tire. I called Kia road side assistance, which is included in the warran On October 17, 2017 at 8:30 am my 2014 Kia Forte had a flat on the rear right tire. I called Kia road side assistance, which is included in the warranty package I purchased when I bought the car. It was explained to Kia roadside assistance that the rear right tire had a flat and the key would be in the driver panel door and unlocked. I called Kia East Orlando service department and advised them it was being towed in for a flat rear tire. Kia roadside assistance sent their contracted tow truck, 365 automotive to pick up the car. The roadside assistance was called in at 9 am. The car was finally picked up after 1 pm. The tow driver from 365 automotive hooked up the rear end of car and pulled the car in PARK 17 miles to Kia East Orlando. The service department called and said car was dropped off, the front end was hanging, it smelled like something burning and it wouldn't start. I called Kia Road side assistance again and explained what the service department told me about the car. They said they would forward it to the claims department. I asked for a rental, they told me to rent it out of my pocket and they would reimburse me. I have been on the phone and sending e mails to Kia Corporate since October 17th. We have gotten the biggest run around. We went to Kia East Orland where my car is parked on November 6, 2017 and spoke to the Sales manager. He acted like he had no clue what was going on with my car. He even offered me a new car for $35000, giving me a "more than fair trade in of $16000". Really? We told him just fix my car. We purchased all the warranties that were offered when we bought the car in 2014. The car only has 30K miles on it and we have it serviced on schedule. He directed us to Kia service department manager. She called the corporate office. They told her a decision would be made next week. So as of November 7, 2017, I have so far accumulated over $2000 out of pocket expenses. A car payment with no car to drive, a rental, we are paying out of pocket for and no one with any sense of urgency to fix a car that only had a flat tire until the tow truck driver from 365 automotive caused all this damage to my car. Just fix the car! It is still under warranty. Go after the tow truck company, 365 automotive! Do you think I would recommend a Kia to anyone or even buy another Kia? More

Service dept & service mgr inept. Service dept inaccurately misdiagnosed my Kia Soul twice. Add soon as they saw that I had a non-Kia alarm & stereo system installed (it was not splic Service dept inaccurately misdiagnosed my Kia Soul twice. Add soon as they saw that I had a non-Kia alarm & stereo system installed (it was not spliced into to any warranty wire item), they wanted to get 861.00 for a battery harness that they said was melted due to alarm wire on battery post. I towed my car to a mechanic who looked at harness & found no damage. We took pictures. Serv Mgr Gina didn't care. Then they said it was main wire harness. Wanted 1900.00 for that. Had car towed again to mechanic. He found nothing wrong w/ wire harness. He sd that the aux fuel pump was bad. Kia refused to do the correct job and insisted their diagnosis of wire harness was correct. The svc mgr Gina was consistently rude and belligerent to me. She mentioned court. I never threatened getting a lawyer. She kept saying that she took pictures. Very obnoxious. I called her Mgr who happens to be the district mgr. To this day. I have never received a call back from him. In the end,.she is keeping to the diagnosis of the wiring harness, and they found nothing wrong with the aux fuel pump. **a little history of the aux fuel pump. In the last part of March 2017, the car didn't start one morning. Had it towed there. They called back saying it was the fuel pump. They replaced it. The car still wasn't working. The service rep didn't know that there was 2 fuel pumps in my type of car until the Kia tech support told him. It was the 2nd fuel pump that wad bad. They finally fixed it.** The service dept is rude and clueless. More
