The individual rating working with Shelby is awesome. She is genuinely a people person and cares about the customer. I believe she focuses on providing excellent service working with the customer and Kia She is genuinely a people person and cares about the customer. I believe she focuses on providing excellent service working with the customer and Kia techs in ensuring the customer vehicle receives the best care. I believe the overall Kia Service department could use some improvements. Not every service advisor is like Shelby; just as every Kia East tech is the same and does not treat the customer vehicle with care. There's are a few techs that are awesome; and take a personal interest in treating a customer's vehicle as if it were their own. Between the few techs I am aware that are good along with Shelby, others that are techs and service advisors should be like Shelby and the few good techs that I am speaking about without naming Shelby gets a 10 rating along with the Tech who continues to provide excellent repair service. More
Friendly service adviser but terrible experience. At the service advisor’s recommendation, I agreed to the recommended 30k miles deal for $715.00. I agreed to this and had someone pick me up. I returned about 40 mins after I was told the car was ready, went to the checkout and see a bill for $850. This is where the bad experience begins. I asked the check out clerk for an itemized receipt before I agree to pay and she rolled her eyes. The checkout clerk (I did not get her name, but she had died red hair), made me feel like I was annoying her for asking to see why I being charged $75+ more than standard taxes. I then asked her what the extra $75 charge was for and she again acted as if I was inconveniencing her. She explained to me in a very short tone that it was taxes and fees from the dealer. I asked to speak with my adviser so she took the itemized sheet and dropped it off with my adviser. I asked him what the extra charges were for and he said that when they give us (the customers) the quote ($715) that they (the advisers) won’t know what the service center will charge for parts. I told the adviser that I should have been contacted and asked if I would agree to the optional service that added $75 and I would not have had the service performed if I had known. He went to his manager and the $75 charge was taken off my balance. What left me with the most sour taste (and reason I am never returning to this location), is that the adviser apologized not for the semi fraudulent business practice, but for me not knowing that there could be random expensive additions that all customers should expect as normal. This is not normal and not acceptable. More

The number one scam they like to pull off on everyone, they remove your air filter then sprinkle old leaves from the ground, stating your filter is clogged, then charge you $120 plus for a filter that cost $15 at autozone.
