I recently had the pleasure of working with Hill Country Honda to purchase a new car, and it was an incredibly positive experience from start to finish. The dealership staff was highly knowledgeable, hel Honda to purchase a new car, and it was an incredibly positive experience from start to finish. The dealership staff was highly knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. They took the time to listen to my needs and preferences and showed me a wide range of vehicles that fit my requirements. I was never rushed or pressured into making a decision, and the team was always willing to answer any questions I had. Once I had selected the car I wanted, the dealership's financing team was incredibly helpful in finding me a loan that fit my budget. They walked me through all the details and ensured I understood everything clearly before signing any paperwork. The delivery process was also excellent. The staff took the time to show me all of the features of my new car and answered all of my questions. After the sale, they even followed up with me to ensure I was delighted with my purchase. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with Hill Country Honda, and I highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new car. Their team is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, and they go above and beyond to ensure that their customers are delighted. Thank you, Hill Country Honda, for making my car-buying experience so positive! More
DO NOT BUY FROM HILL COUNTRY HONDA. I found my dream car at Hill Country Honda. The salesman was great, but after the sale process bordered on fraudulent. Throughout the process the sal I found my dream car at Hill Country Honda. The salesman was great, but after the sale process bordered on fraudulent. Throughout the process the salesman and the finance person told me the add-on packages they pressured me to buy could be canceled at anytime. After the sale, they changed their mind and blatantly told me I could not. Over $7000 in add-ons. None of which (aside from tire and wheel damage protection) was worth anything. $1870 for a protection plan that included 3 month 3000 mile powertrain warranty...and two oil changes for a 2021 car. Worthless, and uncancellable according to them. I got some $3000 finally taken off, but as of three weeks later, they have not credited the finance company to go towards principle. So they lied from the sales process , lied in the finance process and now lying about issuing credit to the finance company. This company is owned by Rene Isip and John Eagle dealerships. Please don't trust any of these dealerships. More

Awesome experience! Jay Prunty my salesman was awesome! He was attentive, not pushy, informative and honest. I wanted to try leasing, I told them what I could afford and that's what I am paying. Sure when you hit the finance guy he has a few more options you can listen to and can absolutely decline. When given my keys Shawn Mallari went over every inch of the vehicle, explaining all options and apps associated with my new vehicle. Two days after my purchase Honda called me asking how things were going, did I have any questions and for me to call if I did. Thank you Hill Country Honda! PS I had and will continue to have my car serviced here as well. The service department is excellent. More

Worst dealership I have ever worked with. If you purchase something from them be sure to add up all the costs before you sign you final paperwork., They tell you that the Honda advantage is somethi purchase something from them be sure to add up all the costs before you sign you final paperwork., They tell you that the Honda advantage is something you have to purchase and tell you a what it will cost. Well when you get to finance they put it on 3 different line items and charge you more than you agreed on. My fault for not adding up each line item before I signed, but once I got home and started checking, they actually charged me more. I have been trying for 3 weeks to get a refund and no luck. First they won't call you back, and then when they do you get the run around. They lie, they cheat and their customer service sucks. I had to give them 1 star otherwise I would have given them a negative star rating Really wish I would have looked up all their ratings online and with the BBB which they have a horrible rating with also More
This has to be the worst dealership I have ever dealt with, their pricing practice is horrible. The car I went in to purchase went from 24K to over 30K by the time they added the mandatory HCH and various warranties. They pretend to go in the back and take items off but when you look at the bottom line they are still there. I wish I had got up and walked away from the table. I will never purchase from them again and I would never recommend them to anyone. They also will not call you back so good luck with that! More
Very disappointed in the follow through of this dealership! On June 8th, 2021, my daughter was promised 3 things: a second key/alarm fob, a car wash, and a cargo cover. The 2nd key and car wash wer dealership! On June 8th, 2021, my daughter was promised 3 things: a second key/alarm fob, a car wash, and a cargo cover. The 2nd key and car wash were finally given to her on July 26th because we went in and complained. We still have not received the cargo cover! Over the past month and a half, she called Eric, her salesman many times, but he has never called her back. She also called and spoke to Diego Sanz, the sales manager, who also failed to deliver on what she was promised until I went in and raised my voice. I complained on their website, explaining same as above and also never received a call back! At the same time we were there, another customer was there complaining because they never got their second key either! If I were you, I'd shop somewhere else, because you will not get what you're promised unless you are extremely persistent! I will never buy from them again! More
Incompetent management prevents a double sale!I had a Incompetent management prevents a double sale! I had a bit of interest in trading my wonderful ’17 Ridgeline RTL-E for a similar ’21 model. I saw on Incompetent management prevents a double sale! I had a bit of interest in trading my wonderful ’17 Ridgeline RTL-E for a similar ’21 model. I saw one with the colors I liked on Hill Country Honda’s website (San Antonio, TX) and gave them a call. I spoke with a wonderful young lady who took several minutes to confirm with sales management that the vehicle was “real” and had arrived on-site. I told her I would come down after lunch and asked her to give me a call if the vehicle sold before I got there. On arrival, she met me and then sent me on to another salesman to look at the truck. The salesman went to get the keys and was gone for quite some time. When he returned, he told me that it looked like the truck was from a dealer trade and that it hadn’t arrived. I explained that I had been told that it was confirmed to be on-site and sent him back to re-check. A few minutes later he came back with the Sales Manager in-tow. At first the manager wasn’t sure what vehicle we were discussing and then told me rather nonchalantly that the car was supposed to be from a dealer trade, but it never showed up. Yep, folks. This vehicle had been on their website for at least a couple of days. It hadn’t been sold, it was never theirs to sell in the first place! They advertised it, but never had it and never would. They told me that it was in stock, but it wasn’t. I traveled more than an hour (each way) for absolutely no reason. The manager was very matter of fact that they didn’t have the vehicle. He never seemed the least apologetic and never admitted their mistake. It seemed that it was my fault for wanting a vehicle that they advertised, but never had. He did, of course, suggest that they had other vehicles that I might like…. Had he sincerely apologized, maybe even offered me a Honda hat or a tank of gas for my 2 hours of driving, I wouldn’t be happy, but I might have understood. Evidently customers are an expendable commodity at this dealership. Had it gone well, they could have sold me the new truck and had a ’17 in great condition to flip and sell. At best these people are incompetent in managing the few cars that they have in their inventory. At worst, they knew that they didn’t have the truck and were baiting me to get me into the dealership so they could switch me to another vehicle. In any case I won’t ever be back and suggest that others use caution in any dealings with them. My apologies to anyone who may have been withing earshot, when their sales prevention team told me that they didn’t have the truck. More
