I purchased a 2020 Honda Pilot on 10/14/23 from Hillside Honda, Queens, NY. This place used to be good. Now is the absolute worst. They sold me a car that is malfunctioning which they can't fix or won't fix Honda, Queens, NY. This place used to be good. Now is the absolute worst. They sold me a car that is malfunctioning which they can't fix or won't fixed. They are not giving me any alternative options. I took my car over 5 times for them to fix it. At first they were very dismissive and did not listen to my concerns. They kept telling me there was nothing wrong with the car when obviously there is something wrong as the car was shaking and having other issues. I try to negotiate with them to get a different car or for them to cancel the contract and they refused. They finally told me I couldn't keep my car there and threatened me to charge me storage fee for having the car in their lot when I only asked for them to honor the warranty (which I have a 3 years warranty or up to the 100k miles mark). Then they will tell me they fix the issues, when they did not. It's been over 4 months of back and forth and the problems worsen. On my way to work the car almost broke down on me and the engine light came on with three issues, emission, transmission, and side sensor problems. I took it back, they only fix one issue, the emission. They told me that they couldn't see the other problems. They also told me the rotors are bad but I have to pay out of pocket. The car is often having issues starting and the keys will not work. If you appreciate your money and peace of mind, DO NOT go to Hillside Honda to buy a used car. The sales manager, Mike is the absolute worst. He is cynical, a liar, and racist fraudulent person. He makes empty promises and not honor his word. He does not care at all about the client's safety or well-being, he only cares about making money. Be especially warned if you are a female of color. He especially does this to female minorities. I was charged $600 for 2 tires. It’s too early to say about the quality but they were unknown brand. But my biggest problem is 1. Engine is making louder noise. I don’t know why.
