Employee(s) Dealt With: Kyle Christian, Carolyn, Mario

My Review of Hillside Honda:
From my first purchase back in 2007. I have recieved great customer service. The salesmen ask you your dislikes and are very concern about your needs, when purchasing a vehicle. They make sure the customer is comfortable and satified with the product. All employee's at Honda greet you with smiles on their faces, and no one is to busy to answer any customer's questions. I felt confident and proud, when i drove off the lot with my brand new 2010 Honda Pilot. The finance manager worked extremely hard in getting me a note that i could not only afford but was comfortable paying. She made sure i was satified with the end results. I would like to thank all the Hillside Honda staff for making customers feel appriecated. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and family for their excellent quality of service.

Employee(s) Dealt With: Tony Curreri

My Review of Hillside Honda:
One of the reasons I went to this dealer were good reviews on dealerrater.com, it did not materialize for me. Avoid Tony Curreri at any cost he will lie to you and try to rip you off. He is very dishonest and manipulative person, he goes and manager every 5 minutes and pretends he is negotiating a price for you while cheat chatting with other sells executives. He has a computer in front of him but he goes to manager to check inventory and it takes him 20min (of course, they have the model BUT it is last one in stock) One day he gives a quote for 17.5k but when you are ready to purchase it goes up to 19k. At points it was really laughable, I could go on and on with examples. They are using old tricks that most people are aware of. At the end it was not about the price but about dishonesty, deception, and old good LYING.

My Review of Hillside Honda:
I would highly recommend Hillside Honda to my friends and family. I would especially like to highly commend and thank Wally Capeheart for his patience, honesty, sincerity and overall dedication to his work and to me as a customer. He provided an incredible experience for me and my son that was absolutely first rate. Hillside Honda is very fortunate to have someone like Wally Capeheart on their staff. Again I give the total sales experience an A+ thanks especially to Wally Capeheart. I would definitely consider Hillside Honda and Wally Capeheart for my next vehicle.

Thanks Again,

My Review of Hillside Honda:
A smooth quick sale. Everything was efficient and the price fair. The salesman very friendly and helpful. No wasted time and no games.
I would not hesitate to buy another car this way, in fact it's the only way I will do it in the future. I will let Donald know when I am due for my next Honda.

Employee(s) Dealt With: Stephanie Chavez, Danielle and Kyle Christian

My Review of Hillside Honda:
Hillside Honda Management,
I originally asked for an internet quote. A lady form your internet department called and I said I had a price of $22,900 for an Odyssey EX from another Honda dealer and I asked if Hillside would be competitive with this price. She said yes. I had visited your showroom and spoke with Kyle. He said that you couldn't come anywhere near the price I had been quoted and never did offer me a price for the car. We spent an hour and a half discussing this and I finally left. I understand that Kyle could not come to that price and I respect that. I don't however respect the fact that someone from the internet department lied to me when they said they could be competitive with the price I had. It is now obvious to me that I was told this just to get me to visit your dealership.
I continued to receive email advertising from Stephanie. I responded back to Danielle as follows:
"Dear Danielle,
I am looking to buy an Odyssey EX from you. I have submitted an inquiry for an Internet quote from your office. I have never rec'd this quote. I have been to your office and have spoken with Kyle and we did not come to terms on the price. Your office continues to send me emails and as per below. I have received one from you, one automated response from your computer and 9 from Stephanie. I sent one back to Kyle and Stephanie and have not heard from either one of them. Your system seems to work one way. You send out messages but you do not answer incoming emails. Maybe if your office were to contact me as per my request, we could come to terms on a car. If you do not want to sell me a car, then remove my email from your records.
I am hoping you will contact me.
Rgds, Paul Mott"

Today I received more advertising and it gave me the chance to rate you as a dealer. I am giving you the lowest possible rating because I should have recieved an email or at least another phone call. But as I said above, your system works one way and you don't seem to feel this is important.
Rgds, Paul

Employee(s) Dealt With: DOANLD, DAVID

My Review of Hillside Honda:
This was my best car buying experience ever. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. In addition, I got a terrific price on my new 2009 ACCORD. Any question I had was answered right away. The whole process was low key, and, contrary to most of my previous car purchases, I didn't walk out of the dealership feeling that I had been screwed. After the purchase, I was kept informed of the progress of the car as it went through preparation and delivery. When time came for the pickup of the car, filling out the paperwork was pretty much a breeze. Donald had everything ready for me. I felt none of the usual pressure to sign up for lots of extra services. Donald also spent over an hour taking me through all of the car's features. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

My Review of Hillside Honda:
I inquired about a 2004 White Honda Accord. Got an email back saying it was still available and that I shouldnt definitely come in for a test drive. "They were having a sale this weekend". I drove out there an hour only to find out the car was already sold 3 weeks ago. They looked at me like "Big deal, we'll find you something else." Their customers were very rude except for one gentleman that felt bad for what had happened. I sat in 2 hours of traffic on the way home.

I am not one of those crazy people, and normally I wouldnt say anything, but this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. I reported them on autotrader for false advertising and they STILL have the ad up there!

Would NEVER go there again.

Employee(s) Dealt With: Samira, Patrick,

My Review of Hillside Honda:
BEWARE!!!!!!! This dealership is very dishonest and uses the BAIT AND SWITCH tactic.
I was lured into their net by reponding to an advertisement on Autotrader.com. The ad was for a 2007 Honda Pilot EXL with DVD and only 11,500 miles. Price was listed at $24,595. Sounds good, right? Since I do not live in the NY area, I e-mailed them and told them I would have to make a lengthy journey to see the vehicle. I would need to have everything set except for the test drive and final inspection. They were just concerned about when I could schedule an appointment with a salesman. I ignored their continual e-mails because they would not set a definite price for the vehicle. After a couple of days, they offered a $250 discount off of the asking price. I called on a Saturday afternoon to inquire whether the vehicle was still available. I was told that it was still available. Since they closed at 6:00, I informed them that I would call back at 5:55 to be sure that the vehicle was still available. Again, at 5:55, I was informed that it was still available. So, I booked an airplane ticket to New York. I was there when the dealership opened at noon and Guess What? The vehicle had been sold. Now mind you, they had to check. They did not know. This is a very tiny dealership with few cars. Any business person would have known their small inventory. But guess what? They said that they would be happy to make up for my trouble with another vehicle. A 2006 with 48,000 miles or some other vehicle that I did not want. Finally, BEWARE THIS IS A DISHONEST CAR DEALERSHIP. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!!
