My Review Of Honda of Ames:

Went in for oil change and new tires for 2011 cr-v and was approached by sales staff about qualifying for a new cr-v at same trim level for same payment. After discussing things, test driving, I drove away in my new 2013 model and things could not have gone more smoothly. I was pressed for time, they got everything covered within a couple of hours, including my test drive. This is the second new car I have purchased from this dealer and I have never felt overly pressured and have gotten very fair trade in allowances for my older vehicle. I would recommend them anytime!

My Review Of Honda of Ames:

I had high hopes that this Honda dealer would be ethical and fair. I was wrong. They tried the usual game of recommending changing the automatic transmission fluid flush at 30K, instead of the manufacturer's recommendation of 60K. They said that they knew better than the engineers which designed the car. They also stated that Honda recommended at 60K to minimize cost of maintenance on the car.
They said that the original tires were substandard (Car was bought brand new) and for $800 dollars, they would replace them. The tires only had 31K miles on them. Either Honda is putting junk tires on new cars or the dealer is lying.

My Review Of Honda of Ames:

We have purchased cars from other dealerships before, but there is no comparison to Lithia of Ames. We had a great experience with Rich, Pete and Mel. These men made the purchase of my new car a breeze. We purchased another car from the dealership 10 months later.

My Review Of Honda of Ames:

This was the first time we actually went to purchase a new car. We had narrowed our options down to three specific models and makes of cars.
We went to Honda of Ames first because there were a couple of Accords that I had picked out as favorites. (Price, color, gas mileage, safety features, specific details).
Jared came right out to meet us, answered the questions that we had, and took us for a test drive.
When we went in to negotiate, Jared worked to get us the best deal possible.
We wound up leasing the very Accord that I wanted.
Jared got an increase on the lease miles and monthly payments.
He called on three separate occasions to ask if we had any questions or concerns.
We have now had the Accord for 3 weeks and I couldn't be more pleased with the car and our experience with the Jared.
Not only would I purchase/lease another Honda, I would go back to Ames Honda to do it.
