My Review of Hudson Toyota:
Here's the scenario of every driver's worst nightmare: Our car crashed after the brakes failed getting out of the highway. Thank goodness no one was hurt. We needed a new car. My wife and I have scoured the web for dealership ratings and reviews. To our surprise and disappointment, the majority of the reviews were negative. After several dealership visits in person, we were even more discouraged. All the reasons summarizing to dishonesty and intimidation can be found on the aforementioned reviews.
BUT sometimes, you stumble across a diamond in the rough and may even fail to realize that, especially when you expect great customer treatment in the first place. I am happy to say that Michael Ventura and his team at Hudson Toyota treated my wife and I with just that.
From the initial visit to the exit review, Mike and team had been attentive to our needs by LISTENING. We were previously turned down by a VW dealership and were desperate for a new car. Between a doctor and a bank manager, my wife and I each have credit scores in the high 700-800's, maintain decent salaries, and with our debt to income ratio at only 7%! Perhaps the VW dealership wanted more "down deposit" and turned us down as a sales tactic. Not only did Mike listen, he asked foundational questions such as our driving habits, family usage, etc. He didn't even recommend any cars to us because he wanted us to see the various models firsthand in the lot. We could pick any car to test drive, as physically experiencing the drive was more important than hearing someone tell us "this car was made for you".
During the pricing negotiations, our leasing agent worked out the numbers with Hudson and we were presented with a great offer within 20 minutes.
During the contract signing, the credit officer Roman was patient with the questions we had for him. We felt it was a pleasant experience in this area as well.
Two days after the deal, we received a call from Mike. He wanted to know how we liked the car and sent regards to my family. A week later, we received a letter from Mike in the mail thanking us for the business. We couldn't have been more happier with our choice of the 2010 Camry LE, but more importantly the services we got from Hudson Toyota was bar none. We will be recommending friends and family to this dealership going forward.
