I had a very good experience purchasing my Genesis. There were a couple of things that I would mention though: 1) One of the cars that i test drove (red Sonata) reeked of smoke. I wasn't planning on purchasing it but I wouldn't have with the stench. A true turn off for any buyer, i'd think. 2) The car that I did buy (2011 White Genesis) had a pea sized scratch right on the front of the bumper down to the black metal. It may have been photoshopped out in the photo online as it was pretty obvious when I saw the car in person. Seems to me that from a dealer's perspective it would be in your best interest to address something like that before trying to sell it. After I bought the car I bought the paint stick and fixed it as best I could myself. Also, the interior up by the ceiling and around the visors had marks of prior use, like hand dirt and even something that looked like catsup. A wet paper towel and a bit of elbow grease got rid of it and it looked as good as new. Why couldn't your "150 point inspection" take care of something as simple as that? Just makes sense to me. Jack is a very good salesman. Not high pressure and fairly knowledgeable about the product. Obviously enthusiastic about Hyundai. A pleasure to deal with. More
