I was given the bait and switch by loy on an internet sale. I live in Ardmore and was searching for a deal on the internet when I found a listing for what I wanted on the jim Norton website. The listing sale. I live in Ardmore and was searching for a deal on the internet when I found a listing for what I wanted on the jim Norton website. The listing had 68 pictures and 2 pages of extras. When I went to pick up my van, I was not allowed to test drive any other vehicle. I paid cash for my vehicle, which is something no one should do when dealing with jim Norton. After they had my cash I was given a used vehicle, when I was supposed to get a new one and the only extra it had was rear tv, the one extra I had no use for as I have no children or grandchildren. The van also did not ever have a new car smell. I am a disabled veteran and I was using my disability award to buy a vehicle I could use. I got a royal screwing by the jim Norton dealership and by loy marshall in particular. More
This place is bad and ridiculous. We bought a new Avalon and they did it wrong. Ended up spilling oil all over our drive. Then they tried to cover it up. After a month of escalations they finally proved the car was okay and offered 2 years Toyota care to make up for it. Thinking it was resolved I learned one year later that they never actually gave me the Toyota care. Now the new General Manager and customer relations refuses to correct this issue. Also when we bought it they used sneaky tactics and added in extended warranty. Don't go to this one they are crooked and lie. More
Saw the car listed online and called about it. Was given the runaround of the car not being available yet but they had it listed on 3 different websites. Finally get a call saying the car was available. Wen the runaround of the car not being available yet but they had it listed on 3 different websites. Finally get a call saying the car was available. Went for a test drive and then started negotiating price. We finalize a price and then I was told about an extra $250 charge as I was signing the contract. Left a deposit and a signed contract so I could go to my bank the next day. Came in and had a bank draft and a cashiers check to finance the vehicle. The finance guy ran my credit and said he could get me a better rate with capital one. I agreed and signed the paperwork. Then I asked about what I needed to do with my bank draft. I was assured by him that the bank draft would be returned to the bank the following day. 2 weeks goes by and I went by my bank on other business and find out that the draft was never returned and my loan is still active. I call the dealership and inquire about the bank draft. I was told ohh we forgot to take it back. Then was told they would take it back the next day. But my bank had already charged me $89 in interest charges. Well it was about 3.5 weeks after my purchase and I still hadn't recieved my title. So I called again and was told that they hadn't sent it out yet. But I could come by and pick it up. That it would be at the front desk. So the following day I went by to pick it up. Get there and have to wait 30mins and then finally someone comes out to tell me that they cant give me the title yet because they have gotten the lien release from the other finance company. I asked to speak to a manager as I felt the amount of issues I had encountered was getting crazy and I only had 3 days until the temp tag expired. Some woman came out who was extremely rude and talked to me like I was a 5 yr old explaining about car loans and etc. I'm 28yrs old and have bought 5 cars and know the process. Then they gave me a new temp tag with the promise of having the title to me asap. I waited 5 more days and called again. I spoke to someone in accounting and she stated she would call the other loan company and see if they had sent the lien release and then call me right back. I waited 2 days and no phone call. So I called again and was told I would recieve a call back. Waited another day and still no return phone call. Called a 3rd time and spoke with another person and once again was told they would call me back. So I'm going on 50 days and still haven't received my paperwork to get my title. By far the worst car buying experience I have ever had. More
There is so much wrong with this dealership. My husband and I drove 6 hours to see a car at Jim Norton. When we called we were told we needed to make an appointment to see the car and we would also get a g and I drove 6 hours to see a car at Jim Norton. When we called we were told we needed to make an appointment to see the car and we would also get a gift card for doing so. We made the appointment, (never heard of a gift card again…still waiting for that one) arrived at the dealership and test drove the car. We were given the price on the car but we had 2 other cars to look at before we made our final decision. The original owner actually works here so we thought it was nice to be able to get all the info on the car. Wrong. Both bumpers have been repainted/replaced and even after asking about them we were told nothing happened. They showed us a carfax but failed to mention it had hail damage before. After looking at our other options we called the dealership back to tell them we were coming for the car. It was over the phone we were informed that they had given us the wrong price and the car would actually be more than we were originally told. We were already on the lot at this point so we went in to discuss it. There was NO remorse for what had happened but a general attitude from whom I am guessing was the manager that gave the impression of “Pay it or go somewhere else.” After discussing it we decided that was more than we had to spend and left. When telling the manager this his response was “Ok. Bye.” Again, my husband and I talked about it and decided that this was the car we wanted and since we could not find it anywhere else it was worth the money. We called the salesman again and said if they would fill up the tank and detail it we would pay their asking price. (The interior of the car was terrible. Mulch in the trunk, goo in the seats, who knows what running down the rear view mirror) It was a deal. Then we sat….for 4 hours actually, waiting for someone to be available to do the paperwork. Paperwork finished and it now being after 6 we headed to our car to drive the 6 hours home only to realize they never touched the car. It was still nasty on the inside. We had run out of time and had no choice but to take the dirty car and go. We did not hear from them again for weeks. Finally I began calling to see who our loan was through and when we would be getting the information needed to get our tags. Between my husband and I we have called over 15 times and always with the promise of “We will call you right back.” Never got any information from them. Never got a phone call back. This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I will NEVER go back here again for any reason. UPDATE 10/6/13- After writing this review and before it was published, I was contacted through email stating the dealership wanted to "rectify the situation". They wished to speak to me on the phone about it since this site in anonymous. we've tried calling 5 times and left messages. Again we were told they would return our call; we've never heard back from them again. More
I had a very pleasant experience with Loy Marshall in purchasing the car. The trouble started after that. Initially, we thought we would purchase the extended warrantees on the vehicle, but decided agai purchasing the car. The trouble started after that. Initially, we thought we would purchase the extended warrantees on the vehicle, but decided against it the next day. I called the dealership and returned to cancel the coverages 3 days later (They were closed for Thanksgiving). The cancellation was never processed and I had to stay on Mr Burton and Ms Bollinger every other week until it was finally credited in May! Remember this all started in November. I was either ignored or given empty promises for months. I was more than patient (over 6 months.) Buyer Beware. After they get their money, you are on your own. More

We had a airbag deployment without any collision driving at 20-25 mph in the Rock Knoll Addition in Oklahoma City. Passenger side airbag went off and cracked the windshield. The service advisor failed to at 20-25 mph in the Rock Knoll Addition in Oklahoma City. Passenger side airbag went off and cracked the windshield. The service advisor failed to inform us that there was a NHTSA safety recall for the supplemental restraint system (SRS) electronic control module (ECM). He told us that it could take Toyota as much as three weeks to investigate the situation. The vehicle was unsafe to drive and emphasized the vehicle we would have to sign that we had removed the vehicle from the lot, it we chose to drive it in this condition. He STRONGLY emphasized that the vehicle had 170,000 miles and implied that we should not expect much from a Toyota with this many miles. I informed him that we had been so advised and I had the vehicle towed to another Toyota dealer in Edmond. It was worth the $117.00 in towing to get the vehicle off his lot and away from his service department. Bob Howard verified that the VIN number of our Toyota Matrix was part of the recall and was available for the recall changes. Bob Howard now has our vehicle and will get the service work whenever the recall scope gets worked. out. Since we have three Toyota automobiles, any purchases of additional vehicles depends greatly on how we are treated during this experience. More

Avoid the service dept as a plague. They lie and just want innocent customers money. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership period. I went to thia dealership to get my RAV4 fixed as it was not dr want innocent customers money. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership period. I went to thia dealership to get my RAV4 fixed as it was not driving properly. The repair personnel advised it was the O2 sensor (i mentioned multiple times it was not the O2 sensor), he said it was the O2 sensor and a fuel system cleaning service, which he said would fix the problem. Over $500 later the problem is not still fixed. When i called and told them about the problem suggested I bring it back. Now they call and say its going to take $3000 for the transmission. Please people do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership at any cost. More
