Employee(s) Dealt With: Service, cashier, sales.

My Review of Joseph Airport Toyota:
The sales is ok and the quality of repairs is ok too; but dealing with the service writers is another issue.
They are rude, pushy, arrogant and inconsiderate of the customer. Few of them will sit and just look at you and offer no help. Informing the customer what was, or not done, done after repairs is poor. Sometimes totally lacking.
They seem to have an attitude like “why are you here in my face?”
Someone needs to remind them without customers they don’t have a job. And that is it in a nut shell: they don’t care.
And you may be punished by being sent to see the lady who works in the cahier’s office. She is nothing short of one R U D E person! Hey there is nothing like handing your money over to such a nasty, rude woman.
Iblargo, smoking? Management smokes at this dealership…why do you expect?
Only good thing this dealership has done in the last few months is fired the used car manager. Guess they only did that because too many customers walked instead of trading or buying. He was the King of rudeness at this dealership.

Employee(s) Dealt With: Darnell

My Review of Joseph Airport Toyota:
Darnell (saleperson) knew upfornt that we wanted in a car and that we had we seen it on autotrader.com. Our criteria was 12500 price, elantra and 2010, but he could not find it on the lot, we also told him what price we needed, 12500, this was the price of the car we had seen and was all that we could afford. He took us on a test dive with 2 other cars because he couldn't find the car we wanted but he still wanted to make a sale. We were disappointed and ready to leave. We didn't want the other 2 cars but when it looked like we were leaving with nothing he was able to find the one that was like the one we wanted to begin with. We test drove it and loved it. When we sat down to discuss the price, he had an offer that was 40 dollars more than what we figured for a monthly payment and he wouldn't explain the breakdown on price to us. We asked him 3 times to tell us but was told the finace guy would explain everything to us. We finally got to the finace guy and low and behold he banked at the same place my wife worked at for most of his life and all they could do was talk about it. Sigh. I signed some forms waiting for the finance explaination but never got it. He gave us the breakdown of the warranty but never said anything about us purchasing it, we thought it was what came with the car as it was on a pamphlet with Hyundai printing all over it, and we finished all the paperwork.
He took us out to our car and the salesman (Durnell) shook our hand and said if we needed anything we should see him. We got home and checked the ad on autotrader.com and we found that it was the same car we wanted and the guy overcharged us by 150 dollars and without our consent tacked on a 2300 dollar warranty to boot. We got the car we wanted but adding on a 2300 dollar warranty package without someones knowledge and acting like it was part of the original warranty is pretty bad.
Next day.
After talking to the sales manager I was told that if I didn't want the warranty then I could come in and he would take it off. He apoligized for the the problem and promised to talk to Darnell about his behavior as he was new to the sales position. I was also offered some free service for our troubles. The sales manager was wanting to make things right so I upgraded the original rating.

My Review of Joseph Airport Toyota:
Hassle-free, straight-forward, honest, very professional dealings with customers. This is the second time I've leased from this dealer and I have found that each time gets better even though I didn't think there was much room for improvement. I will contact them again at the end of this lease.

Employee(s) Dealt With: Ron Wynne

My Review of Joseph Airport Toyota:
Having purchased Toyotas in the past I now ask myself WHY didn't we buy them all at Joseph Airport Toyota. Most people ( if you are like me at least) would rather go to the dentist than stop in to look at cars and get the pressure from a salesman.

This was NOT the case at Joseph Airport Toyota, we had the BEST salesman ever Ron Wynne no pressure at all, he allowed us ( my husband and myself) to decide on what we wanted not what usually happens( at other places) where you are steered (pun intended) to the most expensive vehicle or to this or that, I can't tell you how much we thoroughly enjoyed stopping in and leaving with our new car, a wonderfully smooth transaction we will return in the future for all of our vehicle needs. I really can't say enough positive things about Joseph Airport Toyota or Ron Wynne it was like spending time with a very good friend.

FIVE stars all the way !!!!

My Review of Joseph Airport Toyota:
Airport Toyota was a pleasure to deal with from the moment I first called the dealership. They gave exceptional customer service and were honest and pleasant throughout the entire process.

I have bought many cars in my life at many different dealerships and I have always left feeling like I got taken to the cleaners. At Airport Toyota I left feeling like I got a great deal on the exact car I wanted, right down to the color.

My Review of Joseph Airport Toyota:
I was referred to Joseph Airport Toyota/Scion by the USAA Auto Circle purchasing program. Walt Weber was the first of three dealerships to call and email me. He was friendly and acknowledged the discounted price I had been given. If I had not received an unbelievable alternative price, I would have purchased from Joseph Airport Toyota and Walt Weber. My interactions were friendly, professional and personal. On the basis of my interactions, I highly recommend this dealership!

My Review of Joseph Airport Toyota:
this was the best car buying experience i have ever had. They gave me everything that i asked for in a car without any hassel or barganing. I am super empressed with this group of people. I would buy from here again and again. I hope that my next experience with buying a new car or used car goes as well as this one did.

Employee(s) Dealt With: Jamie Gibson

My Review of Joseph Airport Toyota:
Jamie Gibson was very nice from the very beginning. When I went into the dealership I wanted a no pressure salesman and when we negotiated price he offered a good price from the beginning which is what I wanted. I didn't want to hassle on the price, I just wanted a good price from the beginning. From start to finish Jamie was very good to me and treated me with respect. Before going to Airport Toyota I was at Richmond Toyota to see what kind of prices they had. Richmond Toyota was absolutly a bunch of jerks and it made for a horrible experience. They wanted me to sign a blank paper before they even put a price on it which is rediculous. So when I finally went to Airport Toyota they treated me well and with respect.

Employee(s) Dealt With: James Gibson

My Review of Joseph Airport Toyota:
I have purchased many cars throughout my life and have to say this experience was far and away the best I ever had. James Gibson, did an outstanding job assisting me with the purchase. He is excellent at working with customes, is a person of integrity and extremely personable. All of our interactions, up until the actual purchase, were by phone or email and I was fully confident that when I arrived at the dealership to pick up the car, there would not be any glitches...and there weren't. The price he committed for my trade-in was met, etc. Even after the sale, James has been in contact to make sure we are fully satisfied.
The next time I am in the market to purchase a new car, I will return to Joseph Airport Toyota because of James.

Employee(s) Dealt With: Mike, the used car sales manager, & Jeff Gates

My Review of Joseph Airport Toyota:
The internet ad for the 2007 Tundra Limited stock #P00993A is false advertising. It plainly stated the truck has "no signs or smells that this vehicle was ever smoked in and it really does still look new" and the used car manager has been driving it as a demo for 3 months and smoking like a freight train. The stench is ridiculous. He put 3,000 miles on it to boot, so it actually has over 13,000 now, which means he put on 1/3 as many miles as the previous owner did in 2 years. It has peeling paint on the front bumper that they offered to paint over..so hardly looks new and will probably peel again...but that is not the half of it. They claim the truck is discounted from a $30,000 price to the $25,990 (but it was never advertised at $30K because they "wanted to keep it") and when asked to come down from the advertised price to $24K the manager was very rude with a "HAVE A NICE DAY & THANKS FOR STOPPING BY" comment to push us out the door. Wow...I am still reeling at the crude rudeness of that man...and he is the manager??? I would think there could be a more professional way to handle an offer.
