My Review Of Lenz Truck Center:
I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Brad Lenz during the purchase of a truck. First, I had a truck that I was going to originally trade, but when I found a private buyer, who was going to pay me $3000 more than Brad Lenz, Brads response was, "well try not to sell it." Why would a dealer say that to a customer! He became very distant and short with me after I sold my truck outright. Second, I live eight hours away from Lenz's dealership and made it very clear that I did not want to drive all day to find undisclosed issues with the truck I was looking to purchase. I was reassured by Brad that this was a clean truck and a thorough inspection had been completed and that I would not be disappointed. Shortly after my arrival to the dealership I discovered a transmission leak, inoperable fog lights, dents in the rear bumper, and rust on the tailgate. Brads response when I attempted to explain my concerns was, " your speaking a foreign language, I'll get the service guys for you." Brad knew nothing about the product he was selling. He lacked even a simple working knowledge of the vehicle. Last but not least was his overall attitude, he was rushed, rude, and inconsiderate. His only concern was closing the deal. It came to a point where we decided that we didn't want to deal with Brad anymore and we just about left. Then we got involved with some other nice folks at the dealership who really took care of us! I want to thank Sam Mulvaine in sales, Paul in service, service tech Tim, and various other service techs who worked on the vehicle to get it right. These fine gentlemen understood the distance we traveled and the headaches we were going through with Brad and they took care of us when Brad wouldn't! If it was not for the outstanding service by these individuals we would not have bought the truck. I recommend this dealership based solely on the outstanding customer service of everyone but Brad Lenz. At the end of the sale just before we left the dealership, I overheard Brad ask his salesperson to make sure our sale was wrote up under his name. Beware of the selfish, shady practices of Brad Lenz, don't get treated like we did!
