It typically takes me months to purchase a vehicle after endless research and reviewing specs/price/inventory/details online. Then I drag my wife to the dealers to peruse what is available locally, while simultaneously searching online via AutoTrader, eBay, and a multitude of other sites. By the time I test drive and begin the negotiation, I know what I am looking for and the "fair" (more later) price I am willing to pay after I get pre-approved at my CU. I stopped by MBLN with the plan to vist three MB Dealerships in OC as each had the car I was interested in. As we walked to the used car lot, Andre approached us with a smile and a welcoming introduction. He asked what my interest was, and immediately knew the exact spot it was sitting. While I looked over the vehicle, my wife was pointing out all the "minor" blemishes and stating her opinion. Each one Andre took mental note, but also acknowledged her comments. As we were preparing for the test drive, Andre took the meticulous time to point out key features, both convenience and safety, to insure when we got behind the wheel, we would have a comfort knowing what the vehicle offered and at least how to drive it. This is a huge plus as many associates would just sit in the back (if they let you drive at all) and leave you to your own to figure out how to drive the vehicle. Then we entered the beautiful facility of MBLN! Clean, Immaculate, Organized, Fashionable, Structured, and did I say clean! Very Impressive!! ***** Andre escorted us to his "private" office, not like your competitors that sit you at a desk in the middle of the showroom floor, he provided us with water and made sure we were comfortable. After a couple of negotiations, we agreed on a "fair" price, one that is acceptable to the consumer, and provides a reasonable margin for the dealership. All are happy. Wait, its not over yet. Andre did not hesitate to handle the "minor" cosmetic issues mentioned by my wife. Your competitors exact words the night before were "I don't know what you expect as you are buying a used car". Same year, same miles, same model. Really---not cool competitors. The purchase process from this point was also relaxed and organized. There was no excessive waiting, no tension, no delays, and Andre kept us informed of what to expect (and stayed with us) during the entire process. We were again very impressed. Andre also committed to contacting us later to be sure we were happy with the purchase and also to answer any questions we may have had. He surely did, on the spot, not only did he call me, but since he knew the vehicle was for my wife, he called her as well, and made an appointment for her that fits her schedule, not the dealerships. Nice! I buy quite a few vehicles over the years, and not only am I impressed with Mercedes Benz, (we upgraded from the C-Class), I am now a member of the Five-Star MGLN Family! Thank you Andre!!! (sorry--four star below on the price as we consumers always want lower)
