My wife was attempting to turn in her 5 year vehicle at the end of her lease and John Barrera did not want to accept the lease because we were not purchasing the vehicle or another vehicle and it came from the end of her lease and John Barrera did not want to accept the lease because we were not purchasing the vehicle or another vehicle and it came from another local Toyota dealership. John became very beligerent with my wife and me. My wife is 8 months pregnant and we had our 3 year daughter with us at the time. I would never deal with this dealership again. We went to Toyota of Louisville and had excellent service and turned in the vehicle in less than 5 minutes total. More
I would not send my worst enemy to this dealership. They take up your time with back-and-forth nonsense pretending to come to terms with the buyer all the while they bite you in the back. The salesmen make take up your time with back-and-forth nonsense pretending to come to terms with the buyer all the while they bite you in the back. The salesmen make up nick names for the customers according to credit score and laugh at them behind their backs. I purchased a preowned auto from them and after the promised work, they had my car longer than I had it for the first month after purchase. They tried to find the cheapest manner to fix a noise in the car until finally they had to have the catalytic converter replaced at a much higher cost than what they had antcipated. The only reason I would set foot in this dealership again would be to warn others not to purchase thir vehicle from them. More

Company officials refer to Steve Thomas (Sales Manager) as "a person who really understands the corporate policies within our organization" and this is extremely alarming to me. If Oxmoor Toyota continues as "a person who really understands the corporate policies within our organization" and this is extremely alarming to me. If Oxmoor Toyota continues to employee people who lack professionalism and integrity I hope potential customers strongly reconsider where they purchase their car. I would strongly urge customers to review paperwork in detail and make sure the information they provide is the same information they dealership uses to obtain financing for them. If you are conducting a transaction with this company and you happen to work with Steve Thomas I would recommend asking for an altenative person to work with. Ask this dealership if you are supposed to recieve additional paperwork or disclosures in the mail after you sign paperwork. I have learned that this dealership will divert paperwork that should be going to its customers after a purchase. I am not telling you to avoid this dealership, however, this should make you think twice about what's important to you when choosing who to do business with. It's a shame dealerships are able to get by with not being open and honest when dealing with it's customers. More
I had one of the smoothest buying experiences ever. I asked for a quote via their website and was promptly responded to by Dawn who verified all my information. Within minutes she sent me a quote which e asked for a quote via their website and was promptly responded to by Dawn who verified all my information. Within minutes she sent me a quote which even told me the dealer invoice price as well as what they had and what they could get for me. I chose one from their lot and went in for my test drive. I was greated by a pleasant low key young lady who then allowed Josh (a salesman there) to assist me on the test drive. She stated she wanted some one who was well knowledged in the vehicle "physically" to assist me. When I returned Dawn had already had my trade appraised and all of the paperwork from our previous email correspondence as well as a copy of the dealer invoice where she explained all its details. I signed off on the price she gave me (which was exactly what she said before I came in) and was driving my car home one hour later. This was the fastest and most convenient experience and because she had the paperwork ready while I was on the test drive the wait to sign my paperwork was very short. I will buy from Oxmoor online as long as they keep this honest approach up. Great Job!!! More
I bought a 2001 Camry last year and was not at all happy with the transaction but like the car. First they added a "special benefit package" for $600 and I didn't really get any concrete information what i with the transaction but like the car. First they added a "special benefit package" for $600 and I didn't really get any concrete information what it was for. They just said it was always part of the deal but I would get free oil changes and other benifits. A few months ago I went in and got a free oil change. I took it in yesterday and they said they have stopped doing that. Guess this one oil change was my "special benefit". I think $600 was a lot for an oil change !! Yesterday they charged me for my oil change, twice what I could get it for other places and when I got home and looked at the check point page, they had checked everything. I raised the hood and see that the coolant is really low and also the windshield wiper fluid. How much would it have cost to fill them? Everywhere I have had oil changes before, that is always done. I'm not sure now what was done and what was just checked off the list. I will never go back to Oxmoor Toyota even though I plan to keep Toyota cars. They are not the only ones who sell Toyota so I plan to look other places next time. More
I took my car in for an oil change and to have the tires rotated... the car only had 6,000 miles on it. They took my good tires and replaced them with worn ones. When I tried to get them to honor their "ti rotated... the car only had 6,000 miles on it. They took my good tires and replaced them with worn ones. When I tried to get them to honor their "tires for life" program... they basically said the papers I had were worthless. I knew they were dirty, I just didn't realize the depths to which they have sunk. More
Purchased a car. We liked it. The first sales manager was a jerk and when we refused the percentage they offered, Charles another sales manager came over and said a mistake was made and the actual percentage a jerk and when we refused the percentage they offered, Charles another sales manager came over and said a mistake was made and the actual percentage was lower. It was acceptable, so we purchased the car. During the negotiation, Charles says that they have only had the car for one month and it had been "certified". This added a value of $1500 to the car. However the following problems were observed: the molding was coming up on the roof, the brakes scraped, pulled to the left extremely bad, and the wipers were horrible. All were mentioned at time of purchase, (except brakes weren't noticed until afterward). Salesman promised it would be taken care of. Also after the removal of the marketing paint on the windshield it was noticed that the windshield had cracks. This could not be noticed before because of the writing and painting. We called not fifteen minutes after leaving to talk to Salesman and he said it would be replaced and to bring it in. We brought it in, it wasn't repaired. "Sorry, don't know what happened. Please bring it back." Molding was replaced. However, came up again. During the talk to the service department, found out that car wasn't received a month ago was actually serviced and "certified" three months earlier. DON'T GO FOR THE "CERTIFIED" = ITS A JOKE!. After the second drop off the car and the windshield still not replaced or tinted (which was promised at time of purchase), I called and spoke to Customer Relations Manager, Brittany. I told her I was going to be out of town for a week and to please make arrangements for the windshield the following Monday. I wanted this in her lap to make sure it would be done. The following Monday the car is dropped off. I pick it up that afternoon and guess what -- the windshield is the same! I call Brittany and she says it is not being replaced, only repaired to prevent further spread. I tell her that is unacceptable that Paul had promised and it was because of their gimmicking writing that it wasn't noticed. Too bad, "SIR YOU BOUGHT A USED CAR AS IS". Amazing how the "certification" turned into a "as is" car. My recommendation -- This was my second purchase here. The first one was smooth. However, they have lost all of my future business. No one knows what the other is doing. I will say that Corey and Bryce have been nice. Service is poor. As of right now, 25 days after purchase, my brakes have still not been looked at, my windshield still has a crack, and my car is overnight there waiting for the glue to keep the molding down for the second time. Hopefully my windows are tinted when I pick it up tomorrow. Oxmoor Toyota will not get one more cent from me, and I will not recommend to any of my friends. My co-workers can't believe how many trips I have had to make and the inconvenience they have put me through. We received a questionnaire from Toyota Certification and I hope they respond to the long letter we wrote them. Toyotas are great cars and we own two of them and have owned in the past two previously. However, I will NEVER drive on the Oxmoor Toyota lot again after my 90 day warranty is up. NEVER will I ever look at or purchase a car from them. Take my advise --- DRIVE ON BY! More
My wife and I bought a new '07 Yaris and got a decent deal, not the best but it was a little more than reasonable and our sales guy played the desperate "I need to make a sale line" and we got soft and b deal, not the best but it was a little more than reasonable and our sales guy played the desperate "I need to make a sale line" and we got soft and bought, but we love the car. However, their service dept. has been absolutely horrible. Another user has mentioned "empty promises" and that is exactly what they give (3 hours for an OIL CHANGE). To go with the oil change we need to replace a passenger side mirror, which despite a promise of the car being finished in a day the part has taken over a week and is still not there, with no guarantees on delivery or where a part may even be. No one has said that they would call us to let us know when the part would be there; and when we left our car and the part did not make it in 2-3 days (as promised) they failed to even call and let us know our car was just sitting at the dealership, despite guaranteeing it to be finished that day. Thus, leaving us scrambling to find rides for my wife from work. I will never use their service dept. ever AGAIN!!! I have heard so much good info about Toyota of Louisville it makes me a little disappointed in our choosing of Oxmoor in the first place. More
