When I decided to purchase a 2012 Kia Soul, I did a lot of research online and then finally set up an appointment at Paramount Kia in Hickory to take a test drive. I was very impressed with the comfort, peformance, and features of the Soul and decided that it was the car for me. My sales person, Patrick Butler, was very knowledgeable of the Kia Soul and answered all of my questions. He also told me a lot about the Soul that I didn't know already. His knowledge of the car, its features, and options made it even easier for me to make my purchase decision. As we all know, the test drive and demonstration of a new car is the fun part. The 'work' portion of a new car purchase starts when you sit down in the salesman's office and start talking about the numbers. Patrick Butler made this process quite easy and he went over all the numbers in detail with me. We agreed on a price for the car along with my trade-in. I ran into some unexpected problems with the Carfax report on my trade-in during the negotiation process. I needed to stop the progress of my purchase and make some phone calls to sort out those issues. Patrick had no problem with me taking the time I needed to get that sorted out. I felt no pressure of any kind during my visit to Paramount Kia. Before I went to the dealership, I had visited my credit union to set up financing in advance. I got a pretty good interest rate from them, but Paramount Kia negotiated an even better rate for me, so I ended up financing through the dealership instead. I have no complaints at all with this dealership and my experience of purchasing a new car from them. I LOVE my Kia Soul! More
I saw a vehicle advertised on the internet and called to inquire about it. The salesman answered all of my questions on the phone, verified the price and gave me a solid price for the vehicle (out the door inquire about it. The day we got our Kia it was storming out and there was someone there that met us outside. My husband had spoken to Jarrad before we got there to let him know the situation. We went to the dealership to look at a few cars until we found the perfect car we wanted to buy, numbers were written up for THE CAR we wanted and was told we were going to recieve, we left while waiting fo found the perfect car we wanted to buy, numbers were written up for THE CAR we wanted and was told we were going to recieve, we left while waiting for a approval and soon after got a phone call saing we were approved for the loan with 1000 down we were excited to go get the car we had agreed on and to go pick it up! upon arriving at the dealership we were told THEY changed the car WE PICKED OUT to another compartive car that had alot less features and one that we hadn't even seen or agreed upon. which was a huge shock and dissappointment, what was a even bigger shock was the manager coming at us yelling and throwing a tamtrum in the middle of the store embarrassing us and himself! telling us it is the same car which it most defintely not! not the same features different colors and stripped all down. the manager couldn't see the difference between a nice greenish, all the bells and whistles car to a plain stripped down black one? then repeatly said well buy this one I don't care what one you buy this one will just cost you 100 dollars a more a month, buy what ever one you want but this one will be more, we don't care was repeated over at least 5 times, we I think he should care, not throwing his hands up in the air and repeating buy this one or that one I don't care..like dealing with a 2 year old. very dissapointed! will let anyone who asks about where we bought it to not go there unless they like agreeing on a car and management switching it and then yelling at you about it in front of a crowd!We should have been told on the phone that we were approved for a different car than the one AGREED on! our saleman phil was nice and you could see he felt bad and was probably embrassed as well of the manager!
